Uttarakhand Open University offers admission to a two-year MSc course. This course is taught through the School of Science and School of Computer Science & Information Technology. As studying in the open university, candidates can complete the course within a span of maximum six years at UOU. Candidates can choose to study among nine MSc specialisations, namely Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, etc. The most popular and expensive MSc courses at the university are MSc in Information Technology and MSc in Cyber Security. The total fee for both of these courses is INR 40,000.

UOU offers courses such as BSc in UG level for the duration of 3 years in full-time mode. The University offers BSc in various specialisations on the basis of merit. Uttarakhand Open University offers admission to UOU BSc programme based on the qualification of Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate. The University offers this course at a total tuition fee worth INR 28.2K. 

UOU offers courses in UG, PG, UG Diploma and Certificate levels for the duration ranging from 6 months to 4 years in full-time, distance and open learning. The University offers admission to various UG level courses on the basis of Class 12 qualification. Whereas, for PG level courses, candidates will be required to secure a valid score in graduation and secure valid entrance scores in accepted entrance exams.
