Overall, the college is good.
Placements: Placements are not given for the architecture branch, and that is common in most architectural colleges. But most of the pass-out students get placed in good architectural firms.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the best part of this college. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and in the library. A special e-library has been constructed recently. The quantity of food served is good in the hostel and in the college canteen. VIMSAR is there within 2 kilometers distance from the college for the medical facilities. Labs need improvement.
Faculty: Teachers are great in our college. But the ratio of the student and faculty is less and needs to be improved. Exams are quite tough. The year-back thing needs to be removed. There are two exams in each semester. The pass percentage is 80-85% every semester. Our department makes you industry-ready.
Other: The college crowd and connectivity are great. The green and peaceful surroundings of the college give a positive vibe. The scenic beauty will definitely give you great memories. The scholarship is available here. The cultural and tech fest organised is good.

Basically, the college is good for B.Tech.
Placements: The placement percentage is about 80-85%. The students mostly joined in TCS and Infosys. L&T also comes for civil, mechanical, electrical and architecture. The top 30 students of an above-mentioned department can sit in L&T placement programme. In T&P, we have some summer internship programme and also have students exchange programme with an international institution.
Infrastructure: The labs are good. We can find all the books in library related to B.Tech. The classrooms are old, and some are new. There is a gym. Mostly cricket, football, volleyball, kho kho, kabaddi, and basketball games are played. One dispensary is present in hostel campus.
Faculty: The faculty members are good at their work. The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They mostly interact with students in class as well as outside the class. The student to faculty ratio is about 40:1. We get the industry exposure.
Other: All the department conducts the several workshops and seminars. There are three fests, which are organised on the campus.

East or west VSSUT is the best.
Placements: Because I am in B.Arch, the placement is not good. The recruiters don't recruit the student for the placement in architecture because M.Arch is must in the architecture. But the placement is good in VSSUT. B.Tech student gets the excellent placement this time. More than 20 companies came for the placement and hired many students.
Infrastructure: The library facility is available with plenty of textbook and novels. The classrooms are well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi facility is available in the library. There is a canteen in the campus. A town named Burla is located near to the college. VIMSAR hospital is located near to it.
Faculty: The highly qualified faculty members teach us, and the course curriculum is highly appreciated having semester based exam, having mid-semester, and end-semester. All the classes have the projector, and the faculty use IT related explanation. Most of the faculty are Oriya background. VSSUT is the most reputed college in Odisha.
Other: The two fests celebrated in VSSUT are Samabesh ( techno fresh) and Vassaunt (cultural fest).

Our college is one of the value for money colleges in Odisha.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed. The highest salary package was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package was 3.5 LPA. Larsen and Turbo was the recruiting company. Around 90% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Labs, libraries, and classrooms were fully fledged. Hostel infrastructure was good. They provide good food 3 times a day, free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a water cooler, and a common room equipped with TV and gaming instruments for entertainment. There is a dispensary and post office inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was top-notch. The pass percentage was 85%. Most students fail to appear exams due to low attendance percentage. The course curriculum was very relevant that made students job-ready.
Other: I chose this course as drawing was my expertise and my father was in the construction industry. They should make it a 4-year course instead of 5 years. There were 3 annual events every year sports, tech, and annual function. Campus was spread over 576 acres. It was previously known as the university college of engineering which was established in 1956 and architecture was added in 2010. So we were the 5th batch of architecture.

Review of VSSUT - Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology.
Placements: The B.Arch course doesn't have placement criteria, but other B.Tech branches have placement opportunities. Placements in this college are good. There are training and placement cell which regulate all the placements and understand every problem of their students.
Infrastructure: If you want to live a hostel life, then it is the best college because of its hostel surrounding. I am in the university team, so I can say sports are better to choose in this college. Canteen food is good, and also there is a CCD, which can refresh your mind with morning tea or coffee.
Faculty: In our department, there is maximum work as compared to other departments. So we have to do sheets, models and even participate in different competitions. Faculty members are friendly as well as strict, but if you need any help, then you can approach seniors.
Other: Fests are the best in our college because it is the time where everyone enjoys together, and a lot of things are going on. It is full of adventure, and I suggest to join this college if anyone like an adventure.
