Very good college, definitely go for it, good placements and facilities.
Placements: Placements are going on right now. Even in this period of recession, they have placed almost 50% of students. Most of them get placed with an average salary package of 7 LPA. Above-average students can get placed easily with a salary package of 10 LPA or more than 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The courses are really good. You can tailor your courses, choose your professor, and select your class timings. It is very flexible, and you can customize it to your preference. The faculty members are also very good, and you can learn a lot. It is very good.
Faculty: The semester exams are really tough. You need to know your subject matter in order to score well. Only PowerPoints will be given by the faculty. You have to take notes and prepare for your exam. You need to pay attention during class.

Don't fall for the high ranking of the college and its tier-two status.
Placements: A very few students get placed Every year. Even the job roles they get are within 3.5LPA. The major company that come for M.Sc. Data science students is Syngen which is a pharmaceutical company. The highest package our seniors got is 3.5LPA. However, majority of them managed to get an internship.
Infrastructure: As a whole it is good. However hostelers are not given Wi-Fi access while being in the academic blocks. Many a labs are air conditioned. Classrooms are either stadium type or normal ones. Projectors are avail in each class. Even though the class strength is more than 70 teachers are reluctant to use microphones.
Faculty: The difficulty of the exams depend just on our faculty. For many a courses we can't even choose the faculty of interest. They are highly qualified and hence their level of teaching is also so high level so that beginners in any area find it difficult to understand.
Other: VITs doesn't organize any celebrations. There is no sports or arts day. We have tech VIT and Vibrance in where all events are paid to participate.

    Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Placements are good. CSE students have the majority of placements. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Flipkart, Amazon, and InFocus. If you study hard then you can grab top companies otherwise, regular offers are always available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have 3 academic blocks where we study, and AB-3 is under construction. There are 4 hostels in our college. There are hostel rooms with 2 beds, 3 beds, 4 beds, and 6 beds. Health center is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. But few of them are strict. They always help us in every possible way. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. They also provide digital assignments that help us in external projects and internships.
Other: The campus is huge with huge crowd.

Review of VIT Business School Chennai.
Placements: In our college, almost 85-90% of students are placed at VIT. The highest salary package offered from the Vellore campus is 1.2 crore PA by Motorq. Our course is B.Sc. mathematics and computing, which was introduced in 2021 only. Although we had 7 students in the first batch, we have 12 in our batch. They are not worried about placements or anything else.
Infrastructure: Labs have central air-conditioning. Classrooms are spacious with a very good seating arrangement, boards, projectors, and all. You will never find a library in any college like that of the University of Tamil Nadu. It is on four floors with a basement and contains almost 70,000 physical books, except that e-books, journals, magazines, newspapers, etc., can be found easily. Every sport has its own separate team which everyone can join, so there is nothing to worry about.
Faculty: The best and main thing I find in VIT is our teachers. They are very well educated, and they provide knowledge about everything they know.
Other: VIT should consider your studies as well as your extracurricular activities. In the beginning, after 3 to 5 days of orientation, an event named Technovit is organised in which everything like games, singing, and dancing is held for days. Aside from that, almost every club organises an event or festival. The food quality at the hostel is excellent.

The campus has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with students from all corners of the globe.
Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed in campus placements. The number of students recruited is 912, and the number of companies that participated is 118. At VIT Chennai, there have been more than 600 companies that came to campus for placements in 2018-19. The highest offer made last year was 39 LPA by Microsoft. Cognizant, TCS Digital, Deloitte, and Intel also came here.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well maintained and clean. We have blocks from A to G, and there are more blocks under construction currently. Rooms are of different sizes, like 1 bedded, 2 bedded, 3, 4 and 6 bedded, and regular cleaning is done, so it is a good environment for you to spend time. There are courts and different facilities like swimming, squash, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, badminton etc. All of them are in good condition. There is an open area in almost every block where most students like to spend their night hours after dinner. It's pretty refreshing there after an entire day of classes. There are 3 main mess caterers, and they are present in the hostel itself, so there is no worry about going outside the hostel to get food. Overall, it's pretty good.
Faculty: The institute offers a learning environment conducive to shaping learners into future leaders in their chosen domains. Added to this is the culture of a collaborative and communicative approach that cuts across disciplines and courses. The faculty members make sure that students move out after three years equipped with tools and skills that allow them to handle unforeseen challenges with ease. In every course, there is a marked emphasis on the practical aspect of the subject. A regular interface with the industry through live projects, guest lectures, industrial visits, and internships, consequently is an integral part of the course curriculum.
Other: Student clubs, arts, cultural, technical, social outreach, and health and wellness clubs are present here.

With rank 17,845 in VITEEE, you have got an awesome chance of getting the CSE branch at VIT Chennai.

Many college students with comparable ranks were given CSE there.

So, sure — you can assume admission, however the charges can be slightly higher in those categories.
