For MBA admissions, students are selected on the basis of entrance-test scoring obtained in a variety of examinations.

SRM School of Management conducts its own entrance-test by the name of SRMJEEM, which inducts students into the MBA programme at the institute. Other popular entrance exams accepted at SRM School of Management include CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, among others.

Both PSG College of Technology and SRM School of Management are good colleges for MBA. However, PSG College of Technology is ranked higher and has better placement opportunities. PSG College of Technology offers MBA along with other courses like engineering, MCA, BE, MSc, and Diploma courses, while PSG Institute of Management only offers MBA, PG diploma, and PhD programs. PSG College of Technology is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). PSGCT Coimbatore provides online learning and on the other hand, SRM School of Management offers only MBA in full-time classroom mode.
