The application process usually starts around November of the year preceding the admission year. The application process for the VIT Chennai BTech admission 2026 is currently ongoing. Interested candidates must apply online before the stutpulated deadline, i.e. March 31, 2026 (tentative).

Aspirants who have passed Class 12 conducted by any recognised Central / State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to Class 12 examination with at least 70% aggregate are eligible to apply for VIT School of Law BA LLB (Hons) course. Candidates who have appeared for their Class 12 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their passing certificate on the day of reporting to VIT School of Law.
