A great campus, AC labs, library, skilled faculty, clubs, and manageable exams.

Infrastructure: Library offers books, articles, and access to research papers. Spacious AC labs have large-screen PCs. Classrooms can occupy 60-70 seats with fans and black & white boards. Wi-Fi credentials are provided in the first year. Hostellers can use Wi-Fi from 4:00 AM to 12:00 AM on hostel premises and inside the library. Whereas, day scholars can use Wi-Fi in the library with their Wi-Fi credentials.

Not a bad college. You can join it if you want to gain exposure.

Infrastructure: A lot of facilities are available at the college. The Wi-Fi is good. Labs are well-equipped. The library is high-tech, with computers available and an RFID-based book borrowing system. However, the classrooms are a bit outdated. The food available in the canteens is also bad. The medical facilities are too good. There is a separate block for medical services.

Overall, it is a bad college. Be wise.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is available, but it is provided only from 6 AM to 12 AM. The speed is slow. Hostels are okay, and rooms are fine, but beds are bunked, which is a problem. The hostel is quite strict. The mess food is very bad.

Overall, the college is good with decent campus life, but it is overcrowded.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and lab facilities are decent. Library has a separate building which is open from 6 AM to 12 AM. The internet is sometimes good and sometimes poor. On average, the speed is around 2 Mbps and works from 6 AM to 12 AM. The quality of food in the mess is decent. There is a health center on campus where medical help is available free of cost. Sports and games are based on personal interest, but sports club frequently conducts various tournaments.

Excellent in academics, extracurricular activities, and culturals.

Infrastructure: All multi-facilities are available. Classrooms are well-equipped. The gym, hotel, salon, bank, supermarket, and everything inside a campus is just amazing. The campus has a very eco-friendly atmosphere with a peaceful environment, full of green, and the places are very comfortable.

Review about VIT: A place to learn and a chance to grow.

Infrastructure: The campus is pretty huge. It's around 192 acres. They have more than 250 clubs which we can enroll in. And the classrooms are very huge and comfortable. Also the campus promotes greenery. It has trees and plants planted across the campus. They have more than 10 different canteens to eat and have a gym, swimming pool, and whatnot.

VIT Chennai in 2026 worth it or not.

Infrastructure: Overall facilities are really good. In the hostel the infrastructure is good except the Wi-Fi which is very slow and it is turned off after 12:00 AM till 4:00-5:00 AM. If anything needs to be repaired in your room. You just need to put the complaint on the website and within a few hours a technician will come and fix your issue. There are so many restrictions in the hostel. You have to be inside the hostel building before 9:00 PM and you can't play table tennis after 9:00 PM as it may disturb ot...

It has really good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: Hostel quality and maintenance are really noticeable. Unlike other friends' hostels I have heard about, VIT hostels have better rooms, washrooms, washing areas, and free washing service as well. The mess food is also decent. The quality check of food is done quite often, and if any problem arises, then hostel staff members are always a call away. We also get free medical services anytime and an ambulance that works 24x7 and is only a call away. We also have a ground, a badminton court, and sport...

To know more about VIT Chennai.

Infrastructure: Hostel and mess quality are very good. There are some rules and restrictions, but it's for students' own good. In-time is around 9 PM for boys and 8 PM for girls, and the food quality is above average. It's good compared to other colleges and has varieties for veg and non-veg.

Extremely satisfied with the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is far better than that of other colleges. The campus is clean and green. There are more security measures in place, and the library is spacious with many useful books for the students. There are also many blocks of hostels, which are very convenient for the students who stay in them.

Review by batch 2025 passout.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi goes out after 12 A.M. Food quality was based on how much money you are willing to pay. The library was congested during exam times. Classrooms were okayish. Quality of facilities were 7-10, you have to find your own good faculty members to get good grades. Good canteen for snacks.

Not satisfied with a few faculties but placements are good, good infrastructure and facilities, etc.

Infrastructure: We have dominos available till 8:45 PM. Library facilities can be availed from 7:30 AM to 11:45 PM. Labs are equipped with very great computers with high-speed internet connections. Classrooms are very spacious and have speakers and a projector with a whiteboard and marker board. There are 5 hostels (A, D1, D2, C-Half, and E) for boys here and 2 for girls (B and C-Half). There are multiple caterers available in the hostels. Every hostel is provided with at least 2 caterer options every month and...

VIT has best event culture.

Infrastructure: We have 5 academic blocks and one admin block - AB1, AB2, AB3, AB4, AB5. All blocks have classrooms and labs along with an amphitheater and staff rooms. We have a library that is open throughout the day and night, also till 12. Apart from this, we have many food courts as well, like Gazebo, North Square, Gym Khana, Hunger, and Domino's. Hostel blocks A, B, C, D1, and D2 all have mess included.

Infrastructure: Facilities for the course are very proper and in good condition, like PCs in the lab are working properly, the equipment in lab and classroom is quite big enough for 60 students, and the library is also good, and the Wi-Fi in the labs is above 500 mbps. For sports and games, there are different clubs, and proper equipment is provided. The quality of food is not so good, but not so bad, it's quite average. There is a hospital on campus where you can get basic first aid and medicine.

Fear of getting placed relatively low in grading. Good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, here the hostel life is good compared to that of day scholars. Hostellers get to attend events that will regularly happen on the campus. Many events are conducted at night. Day scholars will leave the campus by 5 pm. We cant able attend campus events that take place at night. Hostels are good. Classrooms are decent, and the lab is good. Central library is one of the best places on the campus where we can get Wi-Fi at a very high speed and is fully air conditioned.
