Fear of getting placed relatively low in grading. Good infrastructure.
Placements: Its my first year in VIT. I chose these college mainly because of their placement records. It is pretty good compared to other private colleges. I enquired about this with seniors, and they too convey the same that VIT provides good placements. Only if you are 9 pointer you get an opportunity to attend a big MNC that will pay above 20LPA. Otherwise you will not be able to get into such superdream packages.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, here the hostel life is good compared to that of day scholars. Hostellers get to attend events that will regularly happen on the campus. Many events are conducted at night. Day scholars will leave the campus by 5 pm. We cant able attend campus events that take place at night. Hostels are good. Classrooms are decent, and the lab is good. Central library is one of the best places on the campus where we can get Wi-Fi at a very high speed and is fully air conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty are overall good. Some teachers teach really nicely, and some are terrible. Curriculum is really good here, where we get to choose the subjects apart from some compulsory courses. They have a relative grading system, so your garden depends on the class average so we need to study regularly to .

The campus is mostly nice.
Placements: A lot of people get decent placements, but at the same time, I see a lot of people struggling a lot for internships and job offers, and that concerns me sometimes, but still, a large number of people get decent placements, and if not college placements, then the jobs they look for are also pretty decent.
Infrastructure: The quality of food in the mess differs a lot, both good and bad, and the internet quality is very bad most of the time. The course is overall fine, though just sometimes there are errors in the systems. Still, that is not very common, but once I had an exam and I was unable to login to the portals for a decent amount of time, although I was given extra time after that.
Faculty: Mostly, teachers are great, but there are two teachers who don't assist with doubts properly or just read the presentations of the course and don't explain them properly, but mostly they are pretty helpful and provide all the nice references to materials.
Other: I chose my course because I thought that it had a lot of demand in the market, and the events are pretty decent over here, just sometimes they can feel a bit pricy.

Highlight placements infra connections and events.
Placements: We need to study hard and maintain a better CGPA to aim for better company placements. Many companies visit during the summer internship and are used to hiring students and many students use to go off campus with their skills. Average placement is about 10LPA.
Infrastructure: Good and silent and can travel a greater distance inside campus. Many trees and all the shops for your needs stationery from ATM bank to cafe food court everything is inside. Hostel food is perfect. There is a wide variety of bookings for the hostel mess food too.
Faculty: Good policy of FFCS to choose slots and faculty flexible curriculum. It helps us in the flexible curriculum to study and we also have a foreign language to study. There are 3 exams CA1 CA2 and a final and we have lab and theory separate exams. CAT 2 will be open book.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.6
3Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
The college is really good, and I really like it, but the population is too high.
Placements: Around 50% of students are placed, with the highest package around 25 LPA and the lowest at 3.5 LPA for Mechanical Engineering. Top recruiters are Amazon and Google, very few people got internships in companies like Boeing, Caterpillar, Tata, etc. Top roles offered are mechanical engineering trainee, area manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are really good, world-class labs. Classrooms are very good but had no AC. It had a 3-floor library with almost all kinds of books. Hostel was good, with different kinds of mess, sports room, badminton court, gym, common area, etc., with AC rooms. Medical facilities were also good, as it is combined with Apollo.
Faculty: Teachers are very highly qualified, and the teaching quality is good. Course relevance is medium, it is not completely bad nor completely good. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is above 60%. The first internal is normal, while the second internal is an open book exam. Overall, it is a good college.
Other: Fest, campus, and extracurricular activities, everything is brilliant.

This is best in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Vellore Institute of Technology offers the best placement offers for the students. They can achieve good placement. There were many companies like HCL, TCS, Infosys that visited this college for placement. The highest package of this college was 35 LPA, and the lowest package of this college was 6 LPA. At least 60% was required for the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was good for the students and faculty. This University offers many facilities, such as all-time Wi-Fi for the staff and students. The classrooms were fully air-conditioned. The hostels of this University were also very big and provided good quality food in the mess hall. At the hostel, there were many games organized every year.
Faculty: The faculty of this college was very helpful and knowledgeable. They make the hard concept very easy. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum provided by the university was quite difficult for the students. It makes the students industry-ready. There were many exams organized every year so that the students could perform well in their sessional examinations.
Other: This university conducts many events and a festival every year.

The food is difficult to habituate for people from the Telugu state.
Placements: On average, 50-60% of the students get placed every year. The highest package will be around 60-70 LPA. Almost every main development company visits this college for internships and placements. The students who get selected for internships have a higher chance of getting placed.
Infrastructure: Every hostel will have separate Wi-Fi systems. Students will be allowed to change their mess option each month. Dhobi service will be provided three times a month. Only labs will have air conditioning. Normal classrooms do not have air conditioning. Not all the facilities are good here.
Faculty: VIT conducts exams in a very strict and mannered way. It is very hard for an average student to survive in this college. Not all faculty will teach well. Only 1 out of 10 will be a good teacher. There will be 2 mid-semester and one final exam per semester.
Other: I took the core Computer Science and Engineering course at this college. I took this course because I was interested in this side of engineering rather than the electrical and mechanical side.
