MBA is a two-year course divided into four semesters. The university offers MBA through School of Management & Commerce in four specialisations, namely Business Analytics in association with IBM, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Shipping Management and Finance, HR, Marketing, Systems & Production. Candidates need to pass a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category). The eligibility remains same for all the MBA specialisations. Candidates need to submit the documents verififying their eligibility during the counselling round for final selection in the university.

 BSc is a three-year course divided into six semesters. VISTAS offer BSc course through School of Maritime Studies, School of Life Sciences, School of Computer Sciences, School of Hotel & Catering Management, School of Basic Sciences and Department of Aviation. BSc is available in 19 specialisations, namely Nautical Science, Maritime Operations,  Applied Medical Biotechnology & Clinical Research, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc. Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam can apply for the BSc specialisation of their choice. 

VELS University offers a total of 125 seats. All of these seats are available at the VELS School of Law, VELS Institute of Science, Technology, and Advanced Studies (VISTAS). To get a seat, students must apply for the course at the university’s official website. Moreover, students must note that these seats are subject to change on a yearly basis.

Before Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the program
is to be sent to the Admission Office.
After Commencement of Program: Application for withdrawal from the program
is to be submitted to the Registrar through the respective department. The application will
be processed within 15 days. There shall not be any fee at the time of submitting
application. A candidate who wishes to withdraw from the Institute after enrolling in the program must obtain a 'No Dues' Certificate from their respective school of study at VISTAS in order to retrieve their certificates.This should be accompanied by the application for withdrawal duly signed by the Parent/Guardian and the original fee receipt and provisional admission
letter ( e-mail request will not be considered ).
The certificates will be issued only on production of the 'No-Dues' Certificate in the prescribed
form, obtained from the Admissions Office.

No, VELS University LLM admissions are purely entry-based. For LLM admissions, the university conducts its entrance examination, namely VELS Entrance Examination (VEE). Thus, students seeking admission to this programme must register and appear for the aforementioned exam. Based on these scores, students are ranked and allocated a seat.
