Yes, there is an entrance exam for some courses at Vikram University. Admission to some of the courses at Vikram University is made through an entrance test conducted by the university. However, admission to all the programmes is merit-based except for a very few programmes which are based on the entrance exam. The university accepts admission on the basis of CUET entrance test. The university also accepts JEE Main for its BTech programme. The eligibility for some courses is a score of a minimum of 65% in class 12th with Science and math.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) offers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to help with admission to MBA and PGDM programmes.
