Visva Bharati University is a Government University in Santiniketan, West Bengal. Admissions will be granted on the basis of merit in the Common University Entrance Test. Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses have to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022). CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 exam, which was earlier scheduled to be conducted from August 12 to August 14, will now be conducted from August 24 to August 28. Calcutta University has more no. of affiliated colleges for the BSc course than VBU. Calcutta University has around 80 colleges and VBU has one, i.e. J.D. Birla Institute. The seat intake at Calcutta University is also greater than that at VBU.
