Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme offered at Vardhman Mahaveer Open University must meet the VMOU BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or BAP/ BCP/ BSCP examination from any recognised University can apply for admission to the BSc programme.

The entrance exams accepted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University are MAT, CAT, and CMAT. Other accepted exams are VMOU MET, and others. Apply early as the seats are limited and the students applying are many.  The approach should be to prepare well in advance for any of the above-mentioned entrance exams for successful admission to various courses at VMOU Kotak.

Looking at the Cutoff list, the VMOU Cutoff 2024 to get admission into MSc in Chemistry was 77.03, for General Home State category candidates. Likewise, the OBC Home State category has the last-round score of 73.85 for admission to MSc in Chemistry. Therefore, it is difficult to get admission into VMOU at 70 percentile

VMOU Kota admission is based on the merit scores. For VMOU courses, the selection happens through a merit-based evaluation of the candidate's performance in their respective qualifying examinations. Interested candidates can fill out the application form on the official website. Other eligibility criteria also depend on the type and level of the course. 

AIMA MAT releases the results phase wise. The exam is held in multiple sessions in February, May, September and December phases. So the results are released for all the sessions of a particular phase on the same day. The MAT February result of all sessions are released in March. The MAT May results are released in June and the MAT September result is released in October and MAT December results are released in January. Candidates who appear for the exam, can download their scorecard for their exam session from the AIMA MAT website. AIMA does not release cut offs for admission through MAT. It has no role in the MAT cut off determination. The participating institutes determine MAT cut offs on their own and as per their selection parameters and criteria.
