- Selection in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses is based on NEET-UG/ NEET-PG score. Students are admitted in compliance with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS], Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi guidelines for counselling.
- Admissions to other programmes are based on merit in the qualifying exam
- PhD admission of the candidates is through the entrance test and interview/viva. The entrance test is conducted at the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).
- Eligible candidates with NEET UG 2025 ranking, seeking admission to BHMS in 2025-25 under Management or Muslim Minority categories are required to register on www.aaccc.gov.in

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) other than General category are - 56879 for OBC, 56879 for SC, 56879 for ST, 56879 for EWS, and 56879 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.
Yenepoya (Deemed to be university) will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
