Q: Β  What is unique about National Institute of Design, Bengaluru?
A:

The openness, innovation, and unusual education at NID are its the finest features. NID welcomes people of all faiths, demographics, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This cultural diversity greatly broadens your knowledge and creativity. Students aren't concerned with getting excellent grades. They are more interested in doing and experimenting with new things in a creative manner. To promote equity, no gold awards are awarded to students. Students are extremely competitive as a result of the highly demanding entrance exam. It leads to excellent co-learning opportunities within the student body. Rather than memorising the same set of equations and producing similar types of project outcomes, each student produces a unique outcome at the conclusion of the curriculum. This is made feasible by the institute's nonrigid teaching system. Because of the low student-to-faculty ratio, the learning process is extremely participatory and personalised for each student.

NID actually makes you more sensitive to the culture and world around you, and it instills in you the conviction that there is much more to the world than college scores, figures, and placements. And because you don't have to compete for good grades, you have more time to focus on producing quality work for the real world a lot of inquiries about NID CEED and other design college entrance exams, developed the YouTube channel GUIDE TO NID to make things easier for all future design aspirants; these videos will answer all of your issues and help you prepare on your own.

The finest thing about NID is the setting in which you can be a free thinker and a highly motivated individual. It is never a pressure cooker, as is typical with IITs. You fight for amazing design concepts, which is far superior to the normal academic setting of judging people on basis of their marks.

Q: Β  Which NID is better - Ahmedabad or Bangalore?
A:

NID Bangalore and NID Ahmedabad cannot really be compared because NID Bangalore is the extended campus of NID Ahmedabad and the institutes have a common admission process and a centralised placement cell.

NID Ahmedabad offers BDes and MDes, on the other hand NID Bangalore only offers an MDes.

Both the institutes offers different MDes specialisations, therefore the choice of institute will majorly depend on the specialisation selection of a candidate. For instance, if an aspirant wish to pursue MDes with specialisation in Digital Game Design, he/she will have to take admission at the Bangalore campus because the NID Ahmedabad does not offer the aforementioned specialisation.
