CS Professional Syllabus June 2025: Download Latest Syllabus PDF

The duration of CS Professional exam for each paper is three hours. CS Professional exam is divided into two groups. The CS Professional group 1 consist of four papers whereas, second group consists of three papers. Candidates will have to attempt the questions of each paper within the given time duration. ICSI CS Professional June 2026 datesheet has been released.

ICSI CS June 2026 enrollment window without late fee will has opened. Candidates can enroll for ICSI CS Executive and CS Professional June 2026 till March 25 (without late fee) and April 09 (with late fee). Only candidates who have registered for the ICSI CS examination will be able to enroll for the exam. Candidates enrolling after prescribed last date will have to pay the late fee of INR 250. 

The CS Professional is the final stage of the Company Secretary exam, whereas the CS Executive is the second stage. The CS Executive course can be pursued by any graduate (except a fine art graduate). After clearing the CS Executive course, only you can appear for the CS Professional course. In the CS Executive stage, there are just two modules to be cleared to advance to the next stage. Since CS Professional is the last stage, there are three modules and one elective subject. You need to pass a total of nine exams to become a company secretary. The fee for a CS executive is around Rs. 10,000, whereas it is Rs. 12,000 for CS professionals.

No, there is no negative marking in CS Professional examination. CS Professional question paper will consist of description/subjective questions which will have no negative marking. 

For objective type question, for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted and one mark will be given for every correct response. 

ICSI CS 2026 date for June session has been announced. The exam will be conducted from June 01 to June 08. Candidates must stay updated with the CS Executive and CS Professional time table. The examination for CS Executive and Professional will commence on June 01. The examination will be held in offline mode across exam centres in India.

CS Professional exam is a closed book examination except for elective papers which will be a open book test. ICSI CS Professional exam consists of 7 papers and 2 elective papers. The 7 CS Professional papers will be held in closed book format.

No, CS Professional exam syllabus does not change every year. ICSI notifies the update in syllabus. Earlier, ICSI introduced the new CS Professional syllabus in 2022. Candidates must stay updated with the latst notification to know the updates CS Professional syllabus. The first examination under new syllabus 2022 was held in December 2023.

Students who are registered under CS Executive new syllabus and CS Professional new syllabus shall have to appear for the Pre examination test to become eligible to enroll and appear for the CS Executive or CS Professional examination. The exam will be conducted by ICSI. the exam will be served as an eligibility criteria to appear for the main examinations. Candidates will be required to pay the pre examination test fee of INR 1000 online. Once the payment is realised, candidates will be sent invitation along with the login ID and password.

To appear for the ICSI CS Pre Examination Test (PET) candidates must follow steps below:

• Visit official website of ICSI
• Click on 'E-learning' tab followed by Pre-Interview Test (PET) tab
• Select the examination and module
• Enter the login details- login ID is registration number (without any slash sign) suffix with @icsi.edu for example- If registration number is 1234567/10/2018 then login ID will be 1234567102018 [at]icsi.edu and default password for first time login is Learn@1234
• Appear for the Pre-interview test online.

Candidates who have qualified the CS Executive exam will be able to apply for the CS Professional exam. Candidates who are declared 'pass' will be able to register for the CS Professional Dec 2025 exam (both modules) till May 31, 2025. Candidates registering after May 31, 2025 will be able to apply for single module only. The last date to apply for CS Professional Dec 2025 session (single module) is July 31, 2025.

The CS Professional June 2025 exam dates has been announced. The exam will be held from June 01, 2025 onwards.
