TKM is a college with high value, and campus life is good.

Placements: The architecture course generally doesn't have placements. So, the chances of getting a job directly from college placements during the course are low. It is the case of B.Arch in most colleges. You can go for placement opportunities in other industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the architecture department is just satisfactory. There are separate studios and classrooms for all batches with computer labs and multipurpose halls. The department library is active all day, and it is a great resource. Hostels are facilitated with a mess, gym, badminton court and prayer rooms, along with rooms for four in general. It is okay to go with.

Faculty: The college follows the syllabus and curriculum of KTU. The course curriculum includes a 100-days internship which is a really good opportunity for students. Although the curriculum is somewhat traditional and needs to be worked upon. There are some good senior faculty members. But I see a lot of guest lecturers who have just passed out now. The department could use some more experienced faculty members along with some famous practicing architects as guest faculty members.

Other: Architecture is a great course if you are really interested and passionate about it, as it is a 5-year degree course. It is sometimes hard, but at the end, you'll know what it is.

Review of TKM College - Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering.

Placements: Architecture course in our college usually does not come with campus recruitment opportunity, but other engineering students have huge placements opportunities with various companies like Cognizant. Although architecture course has this internships program through which all students get the opportunity to work in renowned firms all over the world depending on the quality of their portfolio. Most students in our college have done internships in top companies around India.

Infrastructure: Our college provides multiple hostel facilities around the campus within a 10-minute walking radius. Rooms are on a 4 sharing or 6 sharing bases with individual cupboards and table facilities provided. A mess hall with quality food also provided, and Wi-Fi facilities are available.

Faculty: With a large number of faculty in the department and highly skilled in various fields they contribute largely to the development of individual skills of students. There is a need for the improvement of the architecture curriculum since it has reduced real-world exposure to the scenario in the architecture field. Semester exams can be rated in average difficulty level with almost 60% pass.

Other: The events occur both yearly and in other workshops and fests occur frequently engaging the public from other colleges, and improving the interaction between various students.
