Exam Dates in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology
Entrance exam: The admissions to KNIT, Sultanpur are based on the merit of the students in the UPSEE-AKTU examination and counselling. However, for the year 2022, the examination has been discarded, and the students will be admitted to different courses through different national-level examinations. For example, the admissions in B.Tech will be done through JEE Mains, through CUET for other UG and PG programs, and through CMAT for MBA programs. The results of only these examinations will be valid in all AKTU affiliated colleges, which includes KNIT, Sultanpur as well. Here are the dates for different examinations.

After competing in these exams successfully and scoring a minimum cut-off percentage (25%), the selected candidates will be called for UPSEE counselling as per their merit. There will be four rounds of counselling.
The following are is the schedule for AKTU counselling 2022:

If the student does not get any desired seat by chance, then he/she may go on with the next rounds of counselling. The process for this remains the same. But if he/she desires to opt out of the counselling round, they may opt to withdraw from the counselling process. It is only possible after the second and third rounds of counselling. After the final seat allotment and payment of the fourth round, there is also a chance for internal sliding of the candidates. After all these processes, if the seats remain vacant, a seat vacancy for the special round is released. If the seats remain vacant after the special round 5, there is one more special final round. All the events are similar to round 5. The schedule is given below.
