Q:   Does IIM Mumbai offer hostel facilities to its students?
A:

Yes, IIM Mumbai offers hostel facilities to students. PGDIM, PGDIE, PGDSM are residential programmes and staying in the hostel helps develop their socio-cultural horizons. The hostels are really one of the best in the country. All the rooms at IIM Mumbai are well furnished single occupancy with attached bathrooms.

Mess Facilities

The student council makes important decisions about the various activities regarding the Mess. In order to ensure the hostel operates properly, a special committee called the "Hostel & Mess Committee" (HMC) is formed. The HMC chooses the menu after consulting with all of the other students present. As a result, the menu is regularly updated, roughly every 35 to 45 days.

Mess fees are an extra expense not covered in the term fees. These are totally determined by a number of variables and charged at the end of each month. Additionally, there is a canteen where students can get whatever they want.

As a student's hostel experience remains one of the most exciting aspects of his or her time at the institute, NITIE's senior administrators are eager to make it even more enjoyable, without sacrificing academics by introducing a variety of extracurricular activities. One of the most recent instances of this kind of activity is Sansmaran.
