Although IIM BG is currently considered to be a baby IIM, with the help of its alumni, the institution is making strides toward competing favourably in this challenging industry and is on track to outdo the performance of a number of the country’s most prestigious business schools in the years to come.

IIM Bodh Gaya is one of the most prestigious business schools in India. It was founded in 2015 and has a sizeable alumni network. It has around six batches of MBA graduates each year, the majority of whom find employment in top companies both inside and outside of India. Despite the fact that IIM BG offers two more courses, namely IPM and PhD, the first class of students didn't start until 2021.

Average Salaries Offered 

Typical compensation offered during placements in IIM BG  is significantly higher than that offered by the majority of the country's top business schools. The starting salary for an employee with 0-1 years of experience, also known as a "fresher," is approximately INR 12.5 LPA. IIM BG alumni can expect to earn between INR 20 and 21 LPA after two to four years of experience, depending on their skills and the role they are seeking. However, the average salary for IIM BG graduates is approximately INR 20 LPA.

The campus life at IIM Bodh Gaya has all the facilities, such as library, classrooms, computer labs and hostels. The institute has a number of students clubs, that organise a variety of events and activities, such as sports competitions, cultural programmes, and social gatherings. The academic programme at IIM Bodh Gaya is challenging. Diverse pedagogical methods employed by professors cultivate the knowledge of students in order to develop the industry-required competencies. Going to lecture with prior preparation, working out day in and day out for the completion of the project, late-night group activities, and maintaining readiness for impromptu quizzes and examinations, particularly when requests to the professor for deadline extensions become invincible.

IIM Bodh Gaya is a ranked institute offering MBA. NIRF ranked IIM Bodh Gaya at 53 in 2023 rankings under the Management category. Talking about placements, the institute has released the final placement report for the MBA batch 2022-24. The highest package offered was INR 32.50 LPA. Top Sectors and Companies  

Alums of IIM BG can be found working in a variety of fields, but if we were to name the top sectors, we would say that approximately 33 per cent of the alums are employed in the BFSI sector and 20 per cent are working in the consulting sector. These two sectors account for more than 50 per cent of total alums. Other former students are serving in numerous other sectors like manufacturing and services.

Top Locations 

As mentioned earlier, the majority of the school's graduates are currently working in the BFSI sector, which is situated in the financial capital of the country i.e. Mumbai. However, the people who serve in the consulting sector are either located in Bengaluru or in Europe due to the fact that many consulting firms generate majority of their businesses from European countries only. A significant number of alumni are also located in the surrounding areas of Hyderabad and Delhi NCR.
