Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) has also established a Directorate of Distance Education that became fully functional in 2005. Launched its B.Ed programme by collaborating with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), LNMU DDE currently offers over 20 programmes via distance education.

LNMU DDE admissions are conducted in two cycles – January and July, every year. Candidates seeking admission can apply directly on the official website. Until past few years, the distance education campus was accepting offline applications but as per the latest information available on the website, only online applications are accepted for LNMU DDE admission 2021.

LNMU DDE Application Process 2021

Candidates interested in taking admission to LNMU DDE can apply in both online and offline modes either by visiting the campus or via the official website. During admission, first-year fee should be paid on spot at the time of admission via online payment/ DD in favour of LNMU Distance Education Fund A/c payable at Darbhanga. Cash and Cheque are not acceptable.

List of documents required

The physical presence of the candidate is mandatory while document verification and they must bring all the original documents with them for the purpose. Along with that, they are required to submit all the following documents:

  • Self-attested copy of photograph to be pasted on the admission form
  • Self-attested copy of mark sheets of BA/BSc/ BCom/ B.Ed/ BA (Education) – For MA in Education
  • Self-attested copy of mark sheets of Class 10, Class 12 or graduation – as applicable
  • Three passport size recent colour photographs

BDS Tuition Fees is INR 3.5 LPA. The total fees for the 5-year BDS program, including the 1-year internship, is INR 17.5 Lakhs. In addition to the tuition fees, students will also need to pay hostel fees if they choose to stay in the college hostel.

No, you cannot get direct admission in Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute. The applicant is selected on the basis of NEET entrance exam scores. After evaluation of the scores, if the students meet the cut off requirement they must participate in counselling.
