Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University is the oldest University in Chhattisgarh. This State University has been named after the first Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. It started its journey in 1964 with an aim to spread education among all, including the tribal people of the state. Since then it has been emerging as a centre of excellence. The university runs undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, commerce. The sprawling campus of the university houses various academic buildings, administrative building, and library etc.

In order to take admission in PRSU, one has to visit the website. The university conducts undergraduate and postgraduate examinations in semesters. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. There are odd and even semesters. But some examinations are held annually. Usually, the examinations of the odd semesters are held in December- January, while that of the even semesters are held in May-June. The university announces the dates of the examination well in advance so that the students can prepare themselves well. However, results of PRSU courses are announced a few months after the completion of the examination. The university publishes all its results, including the result of entrance examinations, online.

To know their Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University result online, the students need to visit the website of the university. The dates of publication of results are announced by the university well in advance. The official website of the university is www.prsu.ac.in. Here are a few guidelines to help the students to check their PRSU Results.

  • The students must visit the website first
  • Next, they must select the result button on the home page
  • PRSU log in page will appear on the screen
  • After, they must enter their roll number, name of the course, and name of the semester and year on the result page
  • By clicking on the desired button, the result will be displayed on the screen
  • Students then can check their results and download it

If the students find any discrepancy in their online result, they must contact the concerned person of the result section. After the result publication of courses of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University results online, the university issues mark sheets to the students. The mark sheets contain the name of the students, their roll numbers, registration numbers, semester number and year, grade and division, CGPA, and SGPA. It also contains the maximum and minimum marks of a paper or subject, theoretical and practical marks etc. It contains all the details about the grades. For example; if a student scores 90% and above in a paper or subject, he will receive grade A+. Simultaneously, for marks 80% and above grade A is awarded. There is a mention of class or division on the results. In the case of honours subjects, 1st class is awarded to a student, who has scored 60% and above in aggregate and 2nd class for total marks 45% and above. ‘RW’ in the PRSU result indicates that the result is withheld while ‘F’ denotes Fail. Those who have passed in all the papers or subjects in a semester are eligible to sit for the next semester examination.

If a student is not satisfied with his/her marks in the result or has failed in a paper may apply for re-evaluation. For re-evaluation, the students have to apply online within the stipulated date. The requisite fee for review is to be submitted online using Credit/Debit cards or online banking mode. The result of re-evaluation is also published online and students can see their results by logging into the university website. Fresh mark sheets are issued to the students, whose number has been changed.

After the publication of Pandit Ravishankar University results, the university declares the dates of supplementary examinations. The unsuccessful candidates will sit for the supplementary examinations. To appear in the supplementary examination, the candidates have to fill up the forms online and the requisite fee is to be deposited online too. PRSU results for supplementary examination is published online and students can check their results following the same procedure. The students receive fresh mark sheets after the publication of their supplementary results. PSRU also conducts entrance examination for PhD and admission into other programmes. The results of the entrance examination are also published online.
