Q1. How did you choose your course of study in school (class XI-XII)? What made you choose PGDM at GIBS?

Embarking on the journey of higher education wasn't merely a matter of selecting a college and a course; it entailed shaping my future, one decision at a time. Standing at the crossroads of my academic path during my XI-XII years, the Commerce stream beckoned, promising a deep dive into the world of business—a realm where numbers dance with strategy, and innovation meets practicality. Opting for Commerce went beyond mere subject choice; it represented a deliberate step towards my long-held ambition of immersing myself in the intricate world of management studies. The subjects I delved into were not just ink on pages but gateways to understanding the dynamics of economics, unraveling the mysteries of accounting, and even exploring the realms of computer science—all integral to the modern business landscape. Fast forward to my collegiate years, and I found myself stepping into the hallowed halls of GIBS Business School, a beacon of opportunity and innovation. What drew me like a moth to flame was the practicality embedded in the PGDM curriculum. Here, learning transcended textbooks, venturing into real-world scenarios where theories met the litmus test of application, and classroom knowledge seamlessly merged with corporate demands.

But what truly set GIBS apart were its unique offerings, like the Dual Degree program weaving together the threads of Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurship with the PGDM fabric. The prospect of nurturing entrepreneurial instincts alongside managerial acumen was an offer too tempting to resist. The cherry on top was the Business Mastery program, a platform where dreams took flight with the support of seed capital provided by the institution itself. It wasn't just about learning to manage businesses; it was about having the audacity to start one, armed with knowledge and guided by experience. And then came the Certification in Personal Mastery Program, a game-changer in my pursuit of professional excellence. Q2. How you cracked admission at GIBS? What all entrance test(s) did you give? Any coaching classes that you took for preparation? Any other colleges that you were trying out for? What challenges did you face while opting for this college?

It all began with my focus on the CMAT exam, a pivotal step in the admission process for esteemed management programs like the one offered at GIBS. Q3. How you spend your time at college? Which classes do you like to attend? Which extra-curricular activities are you a part of in college? If given a chance, what else would you want to do? How has your college experience changed you as a person? What opportunities do you see in future?

Aiming for future  my role within the Human Resources department by applying the knowledge and skills I've acquired through my specialization. I'm dedicated to taking full ownership of my duties and aiming for excellence across the board. My objective is to deeply understand the inner workings of the business and pinpoint areas where enhancements can be implemented, thus adding value to the organization's overall success.
