Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Alumni

Alumni are not only assets, but also the pride and strength of the college in which they previously studied. They are the representatives of the institute in the whole world as they mark their presence all around the globe. To connect with its alumni and establish a sustained lifelong relationship, the institute has formed an Alumni Association known as the SLIET Alumni Association. It was established in the year 2015 with the support of a board of directors who volunteered.

1. Rajeev Kumar Ranjan: He was one of the meritorious students in the Electronics and Communication Engineering batch. He completed his graduation from B.Tech in the year 2000. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor at IIT Dhanbad in the ECE department.
2. Devinder Kumar Goyal: He spent 7 years at SLIET, with a 3 year diploma programme and a 4 year B.Tech programme. He was a student of the 2003 batch of the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Currently, he is working for Punjab State Power Corporation Limited in Patiala as a Senior XEN.
3. Umesh Kumar: He was a student of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the 1992 batch. After completing his B.Tech, he worked with various prestigious industries and organizations. He founded his own organisation named "Circuit Sutra Technologies" and is currently serving as the Founder and CEO of the same organization.

1. Amit Dua: He was a student in the Computer Science Engineering department enrolled in a 4-year B.Tech programme at this institute. After completing his graduation in CSE, he worked with various top IT sector MNC’s. He founded his own organisation and is currently serving as CEO of Signity Solutions and ValueAppz Solutions.

1. Rishi Ranjan Sharma: After completing his graduation in Computer Science Engineering from this institute, he worked in the cyber security domain. Currently, he’s serving as a cyber-security consultant at FireEye Technologies Private Limited.

1. Vijay Kumar Prasad: He was a student in the Mechanical Engineering department of this institute. He completed his 2-year master’s degree in welding and sheet metal. After completing his degree in the welding domain, he pursued his career in the fabrication field. Currently, he is working as an assistant manager in the production department at Bohlar Welding in Rajasthan.

1. Daljit Singh: He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from this institute. After graduating, he entered the metallurgy and heat treatment industries. Currently, he is working as Head of Department in Foundry and Forging at Fedral Mogul Goetz India in Patiala.

1. Gurpreet Sodhi: She completed her 4-year full-time graduation degree in Food Engineering and Technology from this institute. After completing her course, she worked for a top-reputed dairy and food-based company in India and then shifted to Canada. Currently, she is employed at Alimentranito Solutions in Toronto, Canada.
