Chandigarh University is better than SLIET. Students of the final year of SLIET go to Chandigarh University and Chitkara University for Off Campus placements. So go for Chandigarh University. If you want to pursue your degree from a central government college then think of SLIET. Placements in SLIET are not good as expected from a central government college. SLIET is situated in a very remote area so think twice before getting admission in SLIET.

Placements in our college will get improved. Many companies like HP, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many other companies visit the campus to hire the students of the IT and electronics departments. So all the students of these branches get placed. Many MNCs like Godrej, Honda, and Mahindra, etc., visit the campus to hire the students of the mechanical department. Both the placement cell and alumni cell of the college work hard to provide placement opportunities for students. Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 423 acres. The campus is lush green. It provides a well-developed infrastructure at a nominal fee. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Both the hostel rooms and classrooms are in good condition. The institute has a central library, and the central library contains a huge number of books. There is also a digital library available for students. Overall, the infrastructure of the institute is good. Faculty: Faculty members in the college are highly experienced and qualified. Many teachers of our college are from NITs and IITs. Labs and workshops are equipped with the latest machines. There is an advanced welding lab available for welding students where many of the advanced welding processes are taught. Teaching methods followed by the teachers are good. Other: There are a number of groups available in the institute. These groups organise many events in the college. The college also organises a tech fest for students.
