Dr Vinit Vijay Dani is presently the area chair of the marketing discipline. He holds three post-graduation degrees and a PhD in Management Science from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Maharashtra and 30+ years of total experience. His areas of interest in research include authoring teaching cases in IVEY Publishing, Emerald Emerging Markets, Asian Journal of Management Cases in Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Vedic Philosophy and Marketing. Dr. Vinit Vijay Dani is a member of prestigious organizations, including SMF, HMA, etc. He has published in International and Nationally Prestigious Journals and Conferences.

Vignana Jyothi was registered during the year 1991 under the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Registration Act.
The objective was to promote social, cultural, educational, scientific and research activities among men and women. This institute owe it's merit and renownce to its placements, developing practical skills in students, training them to be the best leaders and managers. It received a lot of appreciation for its PGDM programme, providing high quality education. It offers 40 + courses and holds the a decent record of having 2900+ alumini.

Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management was established in 1993 by Vignana Jyothi Educational Society, a non-profit organisation. The institute is approved by AICTE, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS). VJIM Hyderabad offers PGDM and PGDM (General) programmes. Students need to meet the minimum eligibility conditions for admission to the PGDM course. The criteria are that the candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 50% (45% for SC/ST students) from an institution recognised by the UGC. For admissions into the PGDM course, VJIM opens its admission portal in the month of October/ November, and the deadlines are usually announced in the months of February and March. Along with these application schedules, students should follow the dates of entrance exams.
