Aside from learning new things, attending a workshop allows students to form new relationships, connect with people who share similar interests, learn about the topics discussed, and investigate their interests at a more personal and in-depth level. As there are many courses being offered by our college, course-oriented workshops are a vital aspect that is considered.

MNIT Jaipur: Placements, Cut Off, Ranking, Fees 2022

Most of the academic exposure a student can attain is from the number workshops attended by him/her. Aside from learning new things, attending a workshop allows students to form new relationships, connect with people who share similar interests, learn about the topics discussed, and investigate their interests at a more personal and in-depth level. As there are many courses being offered by our college, course-oriented workshops are a vital aspect that has to be considered. Though there are general workshops organised at our college in which all students from various branches can participate.

Workshops

  • Online High-End Workshop (Karyashala) on Software Tools and Techniques used in EHEP and its Applications

Dated: July 12, 2021 to July 19, 2021

Venue: Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 200 students. Faculty members and students from nearby colleges were also present in the workshop. The following are the topics that were discussed during the workshop:

  1. Standard Model and beyond
  2. Neutrino Physics
  3. Flavour Physics
  4. Quark-Gluon Plasma
  5. Physics studies at EHEP Facilities

 

  • The National Short-Term Course on Spectroscopic Techniques for Materials Characterization

Dated: January 4th to January 8th, 2022

Venue: Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 200 students and faculty members from MNIT, Jaipur. The following are the topics discussed during the workshop:

Q:   Is MBA from MNIT Jaipur is good?
A:

MNIT Jaiur offers MBA in top specialisations of the field such as Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Business Analytics, etc. As per the evaluating the college reputation for its Management course, MNIT Jaipur has been ranked on 69th position among the top 100 colleges in India by NIRF for Management courses, which is first time in the last three year.

The curriculum of the course is also dynamic. Students get to study the in-depth core areas of Management branches. Apart from this, for the practical learning and substantial growth of students, the institute conducts Summer training, Full Semester Industry Internship and Summer internship and Pre-Placement Offer (PPO). 

By looking at the placement records, MNIT Jaipur recorded an average package of INR 10.45 Lacs in the year 2023 by top recruiters such as Siemens, DE Shaw, Amazon, etc. 

After analysing the above factors, MNIT Jaipur can be considered for a decent choice for pursuing MBA.

Q:   Is Malaviya National Institute of Technology considered a good institution for engineering?
A:

The top companies that take part in the placements drive at MNIT Jaipur are Amazon, Airtel, J.P Morgan, D.E. Shaw, Deloitte, etc. The highest package for UG courses during MNIT placements 2022 was INR 64 LPA, whereas, for PG courses it was INR 30 LPA. Also, the average package for UG and PG courses stood at INR 12.43 LPA and INR 9.37 LPA, respectively. Additionally, MNIT Jaipur average package for both UG and PG courses has improved over the years. To summarise, one can observe that MNIT Jaipur is a good college for Engineering.

Q:   Is there MBA in MNIT Jaipur?
A:

Yes, NIT Jaipur offers a two-year XATMBA course. Admission to the Management course is entrance-based. The aspirants are admitted based on scores in CATXATCMATMAT followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds. Moreover, the total tuition fee is INR 2 Lacs and there are 79 seats available for the course.

  2. -Methods of electron spectroscopy. Auger electron spectroscopy (AES)
  3. -X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
  4. -Methods of ion spectroscopy. Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS)
  • The International Conference on Soft Materials (ICSM 2020)

Dated: December 14th to December 18th, 2020

Venue: Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

The topics which were featured include Polymers, Biomacromolecules, Colloids, Membranes, Langmuir-Blodgett films, Liquid Crystals, Granular matter, Soft Interfaces, Complex Fluids, Surfactants, Gels, Nanomaterials, Self-Organization, Supramolecular Science, Molecular Recognition, Soft Glasses, Amphiphiles, Foams, and Active matter.

 

  • National Workshop on Modeling & Simulation Tools

Dated: October 20th to October 24th, 2021

Venue: Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

The following are the topics that were discussed during the workshop.

  7. A Monte-Carlo Simulation

In Modelling & Simulation, modelling is the process of representing a model, which includes its construction and working. This model is similar to a real system, which helps the analyst predict the effects of changes to the system. Simulation of a system is the operation of a model in terms of time or space, which helps analyse the performance of an existing or proposed system. The concepts and classification of modelling and simulation, their architecture, application areas, and other key ideas were of high importance during this workshop.

 

  • National Workshop on Quantum Computing

Dated: October 20th to October 24th, 2021

Venue: Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur

Participants: The workshop was addressed to over 400 students. The students of nearby colleges were also present in the workshop.

Q:   Is MNIT good for BTech?
A:

NIT Jaipur is a good institute for BTech aspirants. The institute offers placement support to the aspirants. As per an overall placement report of 2022, the placement rate for UG courses stood at 87.60% and a total of 689 offers were made. The highest package for UG courses was INR 64 LPA, and the average package was INR 12.43 LPA. Additionally, MNIT Jaipur was also ranked 46 by NIRF ranking 2022.

This workshop aimed at a light introduction to the Quantum Computing Field with the objectives of promoting enthusiasm and future-thinking skills and enabling students with the capacity to set and act on realistic goals in the Quantum field. A simple Quantum Computing scenario maintained the synergy throughout the entire workshop. The participants travelled down the Quantum Computing Stack to establish informed consideration of different potential careers and corresponding educational pathways. Lastly, a panel of Quantum Computing grad students, teachers, scientists, and developers had an interactive discussion with the participants. This also allowed them to discuss their educational and career pathways with people who are currently on the journey.

With 73 percentile (SC), you can qualify JEE Main B.Arch, but for NIT Jaipur or Bhopal, seats usually need higher percentile. Last year SC closing ranks were much better than 73%. So chances are very low.
