Prof. Tirole's thorough examination of market power and restrictions earned him the 2014 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. His academic achievements in game theory, economics, and psychology are unmatched, and he has received several honours and accolades for them. He serves as a distinguished visiting professor at MIT. Additionally, he serves as the foundation's honorary chairman for the JJ Laffont-Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). In addition to receiving the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences, his notable academic achievements also include the 2007 BBVA Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Economics, Finance, and Management, the Yrjo Jahnsson Prize of the European Economic Association, and the Gold Medal of the CNRS. In addition to writing 12 books and more than 200 articles, he has delivered more than 100 lectures around the world. His academic contributions are not limited to the field of economics, as his framework for creating regulations has found use in a variety of industries, from telecommunications to finance.
One of the nation's oldest technical schools, MNIT Jaipur is one of the select group of nationally significant institutions founded by an Act of Parliament. The Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Government of France jointly established the distinguished Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA). Additionally, CEFIPRA serves as a hub for international cooperation in research across a range of Science & Technology fields. It takes into account a prototype for cross-national collaboration in advanced scientific and technological fields between France and India. Since its start, CEFIPRA has been charitable by making a significant contribution to deepening the strategic alliance, bolstering the S&T ties between the two countries, and advancing it to a new milestone. The Centre was founded in 1987 with backing from the governments of France and India to advance Indo-French cooperation in research and technology.

The best college after JEE is one that provides opportunities to students.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Myntra, Decimal Point, Q3 Technology, JPMc, TCS, Reliance, and Cummins. About 20 percent of students received only internships. Roles offered are analyst, finance, and core metallurgy.

MNIT - The Best College.

Placements: About 75% of the students got placed on our campus. The highest package is of 60 LPA. The lowest package is of 12 LPA. The average package is of 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, ICICI, etc. Almost 50% of the students got internships in their 3rd year.

Best location and average placements.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed during the 2025 season, and so far, 70 out of 120 students have been placed in mechanical engineering for 2026. The highest package is 23 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average is about 10 LPA. Top recruiters are Hero and Honda. About 80 percent of students got internships. Top roles are junior engineers and management roles.

Lucky to get admission in this college.

Placements: Placements at MNIT Jaipur are generally good and improving every year. I am currently a 2nd-year student, so I do not know the exact final statistics, but from the recent batch, around 60 students out of approximately 120 have already been placed, and the placement process is still ongoing. It's an amazing college in Rajasthan.

Placements: In 2025, there are 75.79 percent placements. The maximum package is 32 LPA, and the average package is 10.25 LPA. 72 students accepted the offer. Recruiting companies are BPCL, Reliance, JPMC, etc. There is almost 5-6 students got the internship from the college in JPMC, Reliance etc.

Candidates wishing to take admission in M.Sc programme at MNIT Jaipur must  have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Admission is given based on rank in IIT JAM, followed by CCMN cousnelling.

Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is recognised by the AICTE. MNIT has been accredited by the NBA. The college is one of the best NITs in the country and has also been ranked good by the bodies like NIRF, QS etc.
