Amity University, Noida is a private university located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2005. The university is recognised by UGC and accredited by the NAAC with a grade of A+. Amity University provides undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral programmes. It has campuses in India and overseas branches in London, Dubai, Singapore and New York. Amity secured 16th rank in the management category, 10th rank among the top private universities, 12th rank in the pharmacy category, and 5th rank in the engineering category in India by NIRF 2020 among private universities. The campus has a well-equipped library and IT services offering services in the admission process, online classes, live streaming of events, a library, LMS, Wi-Fi-facility around the campus, research labs for each department, one main auditorium with a large seating capacity, a number of mini auditoriums, journals and magazines.

Amity University conducts regular workshops and conferences to provide an opportunity to teach hands-on skills and provide an environment for the holistic development of the students. All the students of Amity are actively encouraged to be a part of the workshops and events organised. The workshops organised by Amity are:
- A webinar on Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow was organised in March 2022 to celebrate International Women’s Day. The panellists included Ms.
Neha Sharma (L&D Specialist at TCS), Ms. Ritu Chakrabarti (Gobal Head of L&D at MindTree), Ms. Samriti Malhotra (VP Global HRD at Denave), and Dr. Rima Chowdhury (EVP & CHRO at Datamatics Global Services).
- A one-month certificate course on ‘Basics of Remote Sensing Application in Climate Change Modelling’ in collaboration with the India Meteorological Department, Government of India was conducted as well.
- Amity organised a 3rd Biennial International Conference on Future Learning Aspects of Mechanical Engineering in August 2022.
- It also organised a Joint Virtual Global Seminar in Collaboration with the United Service Institution of India (USI) on ‘Asian Resurgence: Strategic Rebalancing and New Geo-Political Challenges' in July 2022.
- A workshop on "design thinking" was organised at Amity University, Noida in July 2022.
- A two-day international conference on the ‘Role of Molecular Chemistry in Drug Design and Development’ was held.
- A 4-day e-workshop on ‘Smart Nanotechnology for Societal Applications’ was organised by the Amity Institute of Nanotechnology in June 2022.
The workshops are free for the students of Amity University. They are conducted virtually and on-campus for the students. The students are intimated through emails about the upcoming workshops and projects.
