Q:   What is Assam CEE cutoff?

Assam CEE cutoff is minimum scores that is needed for admissions into participating institutes of state. Authorities will prepare Assam CEE cutoff based on candidate's performance and other related factors. However, admissions are not guaranteed even if they meet cutoff and it will only raise their chances.

Q:   Is Assam CEE easy or tough?

Level of Assam CEE will be similar to 12th class qualifying exam. If candidates are prepared for board exams, they will be prepared for Assam CEE too. In comparison to national level exam such as JEE Main, Assam CEE is considered easier.

Q:   What is the level of the syllabus of Assam CEE?

Students can consider Assam CEE syllabus to be moderate to tough in the terms of difficulty level. Since the subjects, units and topics of Assam CEE are syllabus to the 11th and 12th standard qualifying exam, the students are expected to have previously studied it. The syllabus consists of the topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. During the preparation process, the students are advised to check the syllabus and referred books. The additional books will allow the students to have a higher understanding of the syllabus.

Q:   What is JEE Advanced exam date?

JEE Advanced exam conducted by IIT Madras. Candidates can appear in JEE Advanced two consecutive times. JEE Advanced is held in CBT mode and there are 2 papers in all. Each paper has 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates have to attempt both papers 1 and 2 to be eligible for admission to the IITs. The marking scheme and the distribution of the questions in the exam change every year.

Q:   What was JEE Main 2025 exam date session 1?

Yes, Gauhati University provides a four-year BTech programme across four specialisations through Gauhati University Institute of Science and Technology. Divided into eight semesters of six months’ duration, admission to all the BTech courses is subject to a valid score in the Assam CEE entrance exam or JEE Main. Furthermore, students also have an option to secure lateral entry admission directly to the second year or third semester of the BTech course. Admission to BTech Lateral Entry courses is subject to a valid score in JLEE Assam exam. Out of the total seats that are available for BTech at Guwahati University, 20% seats are reserved for JEE Main qualifiers provided that they have a valid PRC of Assam. Remaining seats are available for the CEE qualifiers.
