Engineering Colleges accepting JEE Main for B.Tech in Gujarat

The age limit will be applicable as mentioned in JEE Main/JEE Advanced brochure and official website. There is no seperate age limit criteria prescribed for JoSAA counselling.

The JoSAA counselling registration link is made available on the official JoSAA counselling website, josaa.nic.in. 

The courses offered by the 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, IISC Bangalore, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) via the JoSAA counselling includes:

The JoSAA counselling process is held at the national level and is completely online. The counselling is held in five or six rounds every year, and each round includes seat allotment, seat confirmation by candidates, online reporting at the allotted institute, and payment of fees.

To get into IIT Gandhinagar for BTech admission, the last round cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks for various specialisations ranged between 1708 and 11298. The most demanded specialisation for the General AI category was BTech in CSE.

Yes, the candidates who have registered for JoSAA have to re-register for CSAB counselling at csab.nic.in.

The clear answer is no. An online BTech degree is not valid in India anymore. It is not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) because of a variety of reasons. One important reason is zero practical exposure. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

IIIT Surat provides the flagship BTech course, as well as other programmes in Engineering. IIIT Surat admission is conducted on the basis of entrance test Accepted exams include JEE Main, GATE, UGC NET, CSIR NET, among others. UIT, Karnavati University BTech fees is INR 6.84 Lacs for regular BTech course students while BTech (hons) students need to pay INR 11 Lacs in 2026. This fees include only tuition fees for BTech courses along with admission fees which is paid one time to confirm admission.
