B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with any three subjects out of 14 subjects (Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) and obtained at least 45% marks for general (40% marks for in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree or equivalent in the relevant field of engineering and technology with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category.

The total tuition fee for the BTech programme at SOA University ranges between INR 5.1 Lakhs - INR 11 lakhs. This range of fees does not include the cost of the mess or the hostel fee. There is a range in the fee structure because the fee for each specialisation can be slightly different from the other. The BTech programme at SOA University is also provided as a three-year lateral entry programme and in this case, the candidates will not have to pay for the first year of the prgramme. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology offers admission to most of the courses based on entrance exam scores. The deemed-to-be university also considers academic performance of the aspirants for selection. Aspirants need to appear for KIITEE or have a score in any other entrance exam accepted by the university for admission.
