GIETEE 2025: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

GIET Entrance Examination or GIETEE is the entrance examination conducted by the GIET University, Gunupur, to shortlist candidates for admission in B.Tech. Programmes offered by the university. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech admission in the institute need to appear for the GIETEE. The university provided B.Tech programs in 11 disciplines. The exam is conducted every year in May in various cities of the country.

The application form can also be downloaded from the university website as a PDF or purchased from the university admission offices. The offline application form, purchased or downloaded from the website, has to be filled out and submitted by post to GIET University before the last date, along with all the required documents. How to Fill the GIETEE Application Form Online

• Open the official website of GIET University
• Click on the "Apply for GIETEE 2026" link
• Fill in all the required details and click on the submit button to complete the registration
• In the next step, candidates will be required to fill the detailed application form with information about educational qualification, exam centre choice, address, preference of course, and various other details
• After filling the application form, candidates have to upload a scanned image of their passport-size colour photo
• Pay the application fees using a credit/debit card or internet banking

The application form will be automatically submitted after the successful payment of the application fees. Candidates need to download and take a printout of their filled application form. 

How to Fill the GIETEE Application Form Offline

• Download the GIETEE 2026 application form from the website or purchase it from the university admission office
• Fill the complete application form with a Blue/Black ballpoint pen
• Paste the passport-size colour photograph and sign at the prescribed place
• Check whether all the details are filled with correct information 

After filling the application form, send it through the post to reach the university admission office at the address before the last date. Candidates need to enclose the DD of INR 1000 in favour of GIET University Chennai, payable at Gunupur from any nationalised bank. Also, candidates need to retain a xerox copy of their filled application form before sending it through the post.

GITEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of GIET University, which every candidate has to fulfill to get admission to the institute. The complete details of the GIETEE eligibility criteria can be checked below. Candidates not fulfilling the conditions of eligibility will not be considered for admission.

Qualifying Examination

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12 or equivalent standard before admission to the B.Tech. Degree Programmes
• For B.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12 or equivalent
• Candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics /Biology in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) appearing for the GIETEE-2026.

Age Limit

• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 2000, are eligible to apply for GIETEE-2026. The date of birth as recorded in the High School/SSC/10^th Certificate will be considered authentic.
• Candidates must produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of GITEE 2026 counselling, failing which, they will be disqualified.
• Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years (For UG courses only) as of 1st July of the admission year.

The syllabus of GIETEE 2026 will be released by the university in the exam information brochure. GIETEE syllabus consists of CBSE class 11 and 12 topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus and prepare for the exam strictly as per the topics which are covered in the exam.

The exam pattern of GIETEE 2026 can be checked here. The university will conduct GIETEE 2026 in two modes; online mode as a Computer Based Test and Pen-Paper based test. Candidates can select to appear in the exam in any mode based on their choices. The GIET University released the admit cards a few days before the exam. The GIETEE admit card 2026 will be available for download online on the university website. Candidates will be required to log in to the website using their application number and password to download their admit cards

Details about the GIETEE 2026 exam date and time, address of the exam centre, paper for which appearing and candidates' basic details like name, photograph, signature and roll number will be mentioned in the admit card. 

Candidates need to download and take a printout of their admit card to take to the exam centre on the day of the exam. NO candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without an admit card. Candidates will also be required to carry one photo ID and a printout of their filled application form to the exam centre on the exam day.

• Admit card will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of it 

It is advised that candidates check and verify all the details mentioned in their admit card are correct as filled in the application form. In case of any mismatch in candidates' details, contact the university for the rectification of the errors.

The result of GIETEE 2026 will be declared after the conclusion of exam. The result will be announced online on the university website. Candidates have to log in to the website using their application number and password to check their results. Details about candidates marks in each subject and All India Rank will be mentioned in the result. Candidates who will qualify the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to the BTech course in the university.

• Scorecard will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of it 

Candidates need to take a printout of their scorecard as it will be required at the time of counselling and admission process. After the result declaration, the university will release a merit list of all qualified candidates on the website.
