The placement cell at Christ University provides opportunities and training to increase the professional development of the students.

Christ University, founded in 1969, is a deemed university, with its main campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Christ campuses have ample facilities for students providing an efficient and holistic learning environment. Christ University makes sure that the students enrolled in various programs are able to develop professionally and personally. The campuses have a placement and career guidance office which provides training and placement opportunities for the students. The elected placement representatives of each course work along with the placement cell to organise development and training programs for upskilling the students professionally.  The final year students are given the opportunity to sit for companies coming for campus placements. The placement cell provides opportunities and training to increase the professional development of the students. The cell trains them better for employability through resume-building skills, group discussion and interview skills. They also organise visits to companies and sectors for the students to explore career opportunities. 

Placement Process at Christ University

There are campus recruitments organised every year for the final year students. The process starts with a pre-placement talk by the organisation to give an insight to the students about the company along with details about the role and CTC. This is followed by an aptitude test, GD and a personal interview.  

2022 Placement Drive at Christ University 

The undergraduate programs saw 244 recruiters with 35 first-time recruiters this time. Companies visiting the campus include AB InBev, ZS Associates, DE Shaw & Co, etc. and the highest CTC offered was INR 20 LPA. Students from the BCom (H) and BCom (H. in Strategic Finance) were the ones who received the highest package in the campus recruitments. AB InBev, Bain Capability Network, Axxela Advisory Services and DE Shaw & Co were the top recruiters. AB InBev offered the highest package of INR 15 LPA to the students of BCom, DE Shaw & Co and ZS  Associates were the top recruiters for the students of BA programs, while ZS Associates offered the highest package of INR 12 LPA to the BA students, DE Shaw & Co offered the highest package of INR 12 LPA to the students of BBA, Exxon Mobil and DE Shaw & CO were the top recruiters for the BCA and BSc students. 

244 recruiters visited the campus during the 2022 recruitment drive conducted at Christ for the postgraduate programs. Companies visiting the campus included Wells Fargo, ICICI Bank, KPMG etc. for placement opportunities with the highest CTC offered INR 17.50 LPA for the postgraduate programs. 530 students got placed in the MBA programs and 310 students got placed in the other PG programs. Citibank was the top recruiter for the students of MCA programs at Christ University with the highest package of INR 10 LPA. MTR, Atomberg, Wells Fargo, SalesForce and Aspire Systems were the top recruiters for the students of the MBA programs with MTR offering the highest package of INR 15 LPA. Companies like KPMG, Whatfix, Citibank, Eurofins, HSBC, Gartner and IQVIA were among the top recruiters for the MSc course with the packages ranging from INR 9 to 16 LPA. HSBC and Gartner were the top recruiters for the MA Economics program with the highest CTC of INR 17.5 LPA being offered to the students.  

The placement drive is conducted once annually at Christ (Deemed-to-be University). The aim is to provide the students with the best placement opportunities by approaching and inviting the top and leading companies for the placements. Companies visiting the campus include KPMG, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, ICICI, Amazon etc. for placements.
