BITS HD

The BITS HD result have been declared. The exam result was declared for BITS HD scores and GATE scores in the form of iterations. Candidates can check their result using application number and password. 

To participate in BITS HD 2026 counselling, candidates need to qualify for the entrance exam. Also, one should meet the cutoff of the respective campuses and offered branch. 

The BITS HD 2026 counselling is ongoing. Candidates who appeared for BITS HD exam or have registered through GATE or GPAT score can participate in counselling.

Shortlisted candidates can select their campus and preferred course from allocated list based on their rank or scores. If they wish to withdraw, then they can do so by filling withdrawal form. 

BITS HD releases the cutoff in the form of iterations. Iteration 1 is always declared for GATE/GPAT scores, followed by BITS HD result. To check iteration result, candidates have to enter their application number and password. 

BITS HD 2026 application form is non-refundable. Candidates must keep the reciept of registration fee if the payment is done multilple times.

Candidates with GATE score of 2026, 2025 or 2024 are eligible for BITS HD 2026 entrance examination.

The exam time duration for different tests can be checked below -

• Test 1 - 45 minutes

• Test 2 - 105 minutes

• Special Test - 60 minutes

The test 2 in BITS Higher Degree exam is a discipline-specific paper. It evaluates your understanding for core-specific paper, which you have studied during your undergraduate studies. 

Qualified candidates in BITD HD exam get a stipend of INR 13,400 per month. For teaching assistantship, all students are required to contribute 8 to 10 hours per week.
