This year, CBSE has introduced major changes in the pattern of CBSE 10th 2026 exam. According to the revised structure, the Board will conduct the exam in two phases. The question paper for Science and Social Science will be divided into two sections. Science will carry subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Social Science comprises History, Geography, Political Science, Economics. Students will have to answer section-wise. Evaluation will be done by subject- specific teachers.
The CBSE Class 10 board exam consist of 80-mark theory paper and 20-mark internal assessment subject. Total marks are 100. Candidates need to secure 33 per cent marks to pass the exam.
