CHSE Odisha +2 12th Arts Result 2020 Date and Time: According to the latest update, the Council of Higher Secondary Education, CHSE Odisha will announce the result for the Odisha Board Class 12 Arts stream exam in September. Earlier, the CHSE +2 Results 2020 Art Stream was decided to be released by August-end. While talking to a reputed media house, Odisha Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said, “The result declaration process was delayed as two officials working in the council office were tested positive for COVID-19. The board office was closed for a week and will now open in September, following which the pending work on result declaration will be completed. The result is likely to be announced by September 5.”
Modified evaluation scheme for cancelled papers
This year, a total of 2.18 lakh (2,18,800) students appeared in the class 12 Arts stream exam which was held in March. Meanwhile, the Board had to cancel a few papers of CHSE Odisha 12th Exams which could not be held due to COVID-19 lockdown. The students who could not give their exams on anthropology, sociology, geography, other Arts paper will be evaluated on the basis of special assessment scheme. According to the scheme, if a student has appeared in more than three papers, then an average mark will be calculated from the best three subjects he/she has appeared for.

The council also decided to give an opportunity to the students to appear in the cancelled examination which will be conducted as soon as conditions are “conducive”. Candidates who will get results based on the assessment scheme mentioned above will be allowed to appear for the optional examination to improve their performance, however, this will be optional. Marks obtained by a candidate in the optional examination will be treated as final for those who opt to take the examination.
Once declared, the students can check CHSE Odisha Arts Stream Results at chseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in.

Odisha CHSE board does not sent any individual notification regarding the declaration of the CHSE 12th result. Students need to keep a track of the same online. Once announced, the Odisha 12th results can be checked by logging with the required credentials.

Odisha CHSE conducts Odisha CHSE 12th board exam once in a year. Those who do not clear the CHSE 12th board exam can appear for the CHSE 12th supplementary exam.

80% score in Odisha CHSE exam is considered as a good mark to get into reputed colleges. Students can apply for merit seat for degree courses in top colleges. Also they can apply for engineering through state level entrance for colleges accepting 12th marks.
