Odisha CHSE Exam Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

CHSE Odisha offers three streams of subjects for the students. The streams offred by CHSE Odisha are Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities. Students can select the streams as per their choice. 

Education Ministry of India announced that Boards will conduct Board exams 2 times year from the academic session 2025-26. Students will be allowed to retain the best score. However, Odisha CHSE is yet to release any official notification in this regard. 

The Ministry also announced that students of Class 9, 10 will be required to learn three languages, two of which will be Indian languages. Class 11 and 12 students will need to learn two languages, one of which will be Indian.

Students can clear Odisha CHSE exam with proper preparation. They should make a proper time table and follow it. They should learn 5 to 6 hours daily to clear the exam in one month. They should solve and learn the previous year question papers. They must learn the repeated questions thoroughly. Making short notes of important topics is highly recommended.

 The total marks in each subject of the Odisha CHSE exam is 100. For exams with practicals, the marks is divided into 70 for theory and 30 for practical. The total marks for subjects with practicals are 100, of which 70 are for theory while 30 marks are for the practical examination. The total marks are 100 for the subjects which do not have any practical exams. 

The CHSE Odisha is expected to release the topper list along with Odisha 12th result 2026. Once released, students can check the toppers list on the official website.
