The project section of the Odisha CHSE syllabus includes the study of environmental changes in different fields. Students will be asked to go into the field and understand the pattern of various changes in our environment and lifestyle that have taken place in the past 4-5 years. Environmental Education will be assessed at the college level for 100 marks and the grade scored in the Environmental Education (EE) will not affect the result of the student.

 The total marks in each subject of the Odisha CHSE exam is 100. For exams with practicals, the marks is divided into 70 for theory and 30 for practical. The total marks for subjects with practicals are 100, of which 70 are for theory while 30 marks are for the practical examination. The total marks are 100 for the subjects which do not have any practical exams.
