In order to score well in the board exams, a proper schedule of study, covering the entire syllabus, and handling revision effectively is required. Here's a plan that you can follow while preparing for the 12th Board exams.
Days 1-10 are significant within a study schedule, establishing a foundation for effective preparations towards the exam. This stage involves a thorough revision of the entire syllabus, focusing on the topics that are tough, and the allocation of topics that will enable the student to cover the entire CBSE 12th Syllabus 2026.
Day 11-30: Begin the study of topics with understanding. This phase will require the first practice, which will enhance the fundamental knowledge for future modifications and mastered practices. Begin solving the sample papers of the CBSE 12th or the previous papers, so you can get the idea of the CBSE 12th exam format.
Days 31-45: This period aims at improving knowledge acquisition and building preparedness for studying completed in the syllabus. This is the time to concentrate on the rigorous revision of any topics already covered earlier and on practicing a variety of questions. It should allow students to figure out their weaknesses and make them ready for the forthcoming board exam.
Days 46-55: Days 46-55 should be earmarked for in-depth revision and practice. The review of the weaker topics, focusing on the techniques of answering questions, and a lot of practicing a variety of questions would be very useful in the consolidation of knowledge, improving morale, and finishing the training for the examination, which is being undertaken, in the pre-examination phases themselves. The review of the key concepts, review of the key notes, summaries, etc., needs to be done. Several sample papers, if possible, need to be solved.
Day 56-60: Focus on revising concepts, retaining important information, reviewing key formulas, and solving more tests. It helps boost confidence and ensures a well-prepared mindset for the 12th board exams. Ensure adequate relaxation a day or two before the exam. Avoid last-minute cramming.
Tips for an Effective 60-Day Study Routine
- Focus on regular revisions to reinforce concepts.
- Take regular short breaks during study hours to maintain productivity.
- Allocate your study hours, balancing different subjects and topics.
- Maintain a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep to increase concentration.
- Reach out to teachers or peers to clarify doubts.
- Stick to study schedule to ensure maximum coverage of syllabus.
