The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) is responsible for conducting Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. JKBOSE offers three main streams in Class 12 — Science, Commerce, and Arts. Commerce is based on the study of trade, finance, and business activities. The duration of HPBOSE Class 12 is three hours. In the morning session, the exam is conducted for regular students from 8.45 am to 12 pm. The exam for the open school is held in the afternoon session from 1.45 pm to 5 pm. Candidates get 15 minutes to read the question paper.
