  1. Solve sample papers

The best way to prepare for the board examination is to practice sample papers and UP Board 12th previous years’ question papers regularly. This will give students a better idea of the question paper format and manage time properly during the exam.

  1. Know the periodic table

Learning the periodic table may seem a difficult task but is essential for students to prepare for class 12th Chemistry exam. The students should know the properties and numbers of the major chemicals in several questions. Knowing the properties of a chemical will help in solving a question or equation effortlessly.

  1. Learn to write powers

In Chemistry, most of the equations and answers involve the powers of certain chemicals. For example, exponential numbers like the Avogadro number should be written clearly on the top and should not be confused for something else.

  1. Practice equations

There is often more than one way to solve an equation. The students must use one method to solve it and another method to cross-check or verify the same. Both ways should yield the same answer to ensure that the answer is correct. However, students should do this only after completing their paper or in case of any doubt.

  1. Write out notes and answers

The students should prepare their short notes while studying a topic. This will enable them to understand topics clearly and these short notes can also help during the revision of the syllabus.

  1. Don’t be scared to ask for help

Chemistry can be quite an intimidating subject. The students preparing for board exams should never be scared to ask for help during the preparation. Ask a friend, a senior, a tutor, or a school teacher for help in any type of question, if required.
