UP Board 12th Exam Pattern 2025-26: The Uttar Pradesh Board prescribe the UP Board class 12 exam pattern 2026 for the students. The board released the UP 12th exam pattern along with the UP Board 12th syllabus 2025-26. Students can check the updated UP Board exam pattern 2026 class 12 online on the board's official website and on this page. We have provided updated subject-wise UPMSP class 12 exam patterns 2026 on this page.

All the students must go through the UP Board 12th Exam Pattern 2026 for better preparation for the exam. The exam pattern gives an insight into the marking scheme, duration of the exam, and types of questions asked in the exam, among other things. Students must also ensure that they go through the entire UP Board Class 12 Syllabus, divide the chapters as per the exam pattern, and study accordingly.

As per the released UP Board exam pattern 2026 class 12, the question paper will be divided into two sections. Section A will have multiple-choice questions, while Section B will have descriptive answer-type questions. In section A, 20 MCQs will be asked for one mark each, while section B will have short-answer and long-answer-type questions of 50 marks. The exam will be 70 marks, and the duration will be of three hours and 15 minutes. These extra 15 minutes will be given to the students to read the question paper. The UP Board 12th model papers 2025-26 will soon be available on the official UPMSP website.

Q:   When will the UP Board 12th exam be conducted?

UPMSP announced the UP Board exam date 2026 class 12 for the students on November 5, 2025. The UPMSP will hold the UP 12th exam 2026 between February 18 and March 12, 2026. On the other hand, UP Board class 12 practical exams will also be conducted in January and February 2026. The board will be conducting the UP Board 10th compartment exam 2026 in July 2026, tentatively.

Hence, the students can obtain a maximum of 100 marks in each paper. On the other hand, to pass the exam, a student is required to obtain at least 33% marks in each paper. A genuined preparation will help students secure their desired marks in the UPMSP 12th exam.

The UP Board exams 2026 will be conducted in February and March 2026. You must cover the entire UP Board 10th syllabus to perform well in the exam. However, a large number of students feel nervous during the exam. To stop being nervous, the students must focus on their overall well-being during the exam. In suc condition, they can sit and relax. Get sleep of minimum 7 to 8 hours and get up early and revise the syllabus/topics. Taking 5-10 minutes break during the study i salso helpful.
