IIFT Executive Programmes 2017: Last date to apply July 24

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade or IIFT is inviting application for its executive programs (2017-2019 )- Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB), Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing (EPGDIM) and Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (EPFDF).

All the three programs are designed with a vision to impart globally competitive business education to professionals who wish to further their career on the global platform.

The one-and-a-half year programs are divided into three semesters of six months each.

Aspirants who wish to enroll themselves in any of the above courses, need to hurry up as registrations are open only till July 24, 2017. The programs will commence from September 2017.

Eligibility:

Working professionals and self-employed individuals should fulfil the following criteria to be able to apply:

Post-Graduate Degree/Engineering Degree or equivalent from any recognized University or Institution and Managerial work experience of 3 years.

or

Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized University or Institution and managerial work experience of 5 years.

Work experience as on 31 August 2017 will be considered.

Company Sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the employer to be presented at the time of admission.

Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layers)/Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India rules.

There is no age limit.

Admission process:

Admissions are granted on the basis of the candidates’ performance in Essay Writing/GD/PI

Application forms:

Interested candidates can download the form from the official website.

The application form is common for all the three courses. The candidates are required to mention choice of program according to their preference.

The candidates must fill the form completely as incomplete forms will be rejected.

Columns related to work experience, future plan etc. must be filled with utmost care as the candidates will be shortlisted for Essay Writing/GD/PI on that basis.

A recent passport size photograph must also be uploaded along with the form.

The duly filled application form must be mailed to IIFT along with a Demand Draft or Pay Order of Rs 1200 drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade payable at New Delhi.

The form can also be purchased in cash from IIFT campus.

Application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates is Rs 600. Candidates purchasing forms under this category are required to present a copy of cast certificate at the time of purchase.

Essay writing/GD/PI:

After the application process is completed, the institute will issue the list of candidates shortlisted for Essay Writing/GD/PI.

The candidates are advised to be well versed with current affairs, business news and global business trends. They must also be prepared to face questions/situations related to their work experience and future plan.

Classes:

For the first week at the beginning of each Semester regular classes will be held at IIFT Campus in New Delhi from 9.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and after that classes will be held on alternate Saturdays and Sundays from 09:00 to 18:30 p.m.

Fee structure:

Total fees of the program is Rs 3,60,000 to be payable in three instalments.

First instalment at the time of admission

Rs 1,60,000

Second instalment at the start of second semester

Rs 1,00,000

Third instalment at the start of third semester

Rs 1,00,000

SC/ST/PH candidates are allowed 50% concession on admission fees.
