What to Expect from Cluster University Srinagar

Placements: The placement at this college is too bad and I have seen none of the students get placed anywhere after finishing the degrees. Though internships are available for students, there is zero to no placement. Almost all the students get an internship in different companies like banks and other industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is honestly very poor, there's no Wi-Fi available, the labs don't have tools available, the library lacks quality books and space to sit and read, and the classrooms are filthy, filled with dust, that are rarely or not cleaned at all. I have not opted for a hostel, but my friends who have say it's bad. The mess, the food is extremely low quality, the canteen sanitation is not good, and very few medical facilities are available. Sports are held but only some popular games are focused on.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified but they've got zero to no experience in teaching. A lot of students have stopped attending classes because of the poor quality of teaching. The curriculum is relevant but the inexperienced teachers just finish the syllabus somehow in just a month and then the exams are held. The semester exams are much difficult and are at a satisfactory level, but students not having been prepared much struggle a lot.

Other: I chose this course to get a better insight and a deep understanding of the business world. The best thing about my course is that it digs deeper into the world of business, the economy, and laws related to it. The teachers could've been better and more experienced and would also provide a protective approach. There are a lot of events and fests that take place in the college throughout the year, the campus crowd is dense with a lot of students being good and connective. The campus surroundings are dirty and uncleaned. There's grass everywhere. A lot of scholarships are available for our college and extracurricular activities are very inclusive and limited.

I am not satisfied with this college because of its faculty members, campus, and food service.

Placements: About 200 students got placed in our course. The salary packages are not offered to students. Top companies won't visit our college to recruit students. All banks and small-scale companies visit our college to recruit students. Students have not got internships.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for teachers only, not for students. All labs are not good. The library is satisfactory. The hostel is a complete mess. Our canteen is not clean. Medical facilities are not available in our college.

Faculty: All teachers are satisfactory but not good. Exams are satisfyingly good. The teaching should be improved. The curriculum is average. It is not much industry level. For our first semester, we have to study for 3 months and attempt exams. The internal examination has completely biased. Students are selected and disqualified randomly.

Other: I opted for this course because I always wanted to study management but couldn't afford a more expensive college. I want to gain knowledge and a degree.

Bad experience, bad facilities.

Placements: Not a single student was placed by the college or the university in my course. But they got jobs on their own, almost 30% of students got jobs in different companies/organizations. Students got the minimum package of 1.5 -2 Lacs per annum and a maximum package of 4-5 Lacs per annum. BIPL ( Rehmat spices, ICICI bank ). All of the students got their internships offered from the university in different companies, most of the students did their internships from Jammu & Kashmir Bank ( finance BRANCH), and students also did their internships in marketing from BIPL ( Rehmat Spices) and Agro tech Pvt. Ltd. The top roles offer in our course were Human Resources management, marketing management, Finance management, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure availability is very poor they always say we don't have funds for these facilities, there is Wi-Fi available for students but they don't recharge it, classroom are very good they have smart boards but they don't have classrooms for all semesters in the main building so they take classes of some semesters in huts made of tin. The library is improving day by day but they only have 1- 2 copies of a brand ok, labs are not well developed also. In hostel facilities available are poor also they don't have a permanent cook there currently but a private cook is cooking for students, students give salary to the cook from their pockets, not all washrooms are working currently, there is a library in the hostel which is closed my Management of the college, no medical facility ay all, Sports department is better than other departments but they also don't have the equipment to fulfill the requirements of all the students.

Faculty: Yes our HOD was very helpful in every aspect from academics to personal, he always encouraged us and understood our problems but because of no funds, he couldn't do much for us. Our staff was very good at their job they took regular classes even in hard political situations. The teaching quality was good.

Other: I chose this course because I want to be a Finance manager, the best thing about my course is that it gives you knowledge about a company's environment and operations. I wish our university should provide us with more practical knowledge in internships and extracurricular activities. Events are conducted rarely, the campus is very crowded, but the surrounding is not good because there are illegal activities like drugs, etc. Continuously going on, no scholarships are given by the college but they provide PM scholarships.

There is not possibility of any placement.

Placements: To be honest there is no chance of placements. This is government college There is very low fee structure for students Scholarship is available in this college like nsp and other government scholarship for students There is limit for students.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and availability of classrooms is just a hut. I don't have hostel in this college. Infrastructure and development of buildings is under process so we can say that the upcoming students will receive the better infrastructure in future.

Faculty: In this college we dealwith contractuals only. The examination conducted by the cluster University is very tough and the examiner are giving the best. So we are very satisfied with the examination as well as staff. Lot of college are available for exams.

I have a below-average experience here.

Placements: I think less than 10% of the students got placed. I am not quite sure about the average package, but I think it could be less than 1.5 LPA. I am not quite sure about the companies that visit our college for placements, but local banks visit here. I think internships are not that common, but some of my friends did get an internship. Less than 15% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is below par. Wi-Fi facility is available, but the signal is poor at most of the spots. Labs are average, but some of the equipment is a little overrated. Classrooms are average, but in winters, it is very chilly due to the lack of a heating system. The library is good, especially after the new setup. Hostels are average, and the new block is quite good. The quality of food served is good enough, and the canteen is also decent. Medical facilities are not available as per my knowledge. Sports and games are decent enough.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified enough. They have good knowledge, and they are helpful. They are very arrogant. The course curriculum is ancient, and it does not help students with anything in the industry. Semester exams are not that difficult, and question papers are easy enough. The pass percentage is good.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am from a commerce background. I wish the college should improve the amount of industrial exposure to the students.

Overall, the college is satisfying.

Placements: Cluster University Srinagar does not have an on-campus placement cell. Companies do not visit our college to recruit students for placements. You have to appear in a state recruitment board exam for the job. The salary package offered to students ranges from 3-4 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and a central library with the latest technology. The infrastructure of the campus is average, and it is under construction. So with time, the infrastructure will be the best. The quality of the overall college, medical facilities, sports and games are average and satisfactory.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. At least you do not have to go for any coaching classes if you regularly come to college. The difficulty level of semester exams is like 70-80%, and the pass percentage is 35-40%. The course curriculum makes students 100% ready for industrial jobs.

Placements: u00b0 There were almost 60 students in the course, u00b0The lowest package was 40000-45000 and average was 60000-75000 u00b0Tata group of companies and many more u00b0may be 20? Of students got internship u00b0Top Roles in the course played by knowledgeable teachers.

Infrastructure: u00b0The facilities and infrastructure is really respactfull Both are great in college It is well mentioned There is a well mentioned central library where we can get any book that we need in the course Also classrooms are so clean and neat Teachers are well knowledgeable and skillful u00b0 The hostal facility was also good The quality food uusd to serve to students and also the most important thing was they used to keep rooms clean and food without any side effect Also there are canteens you can get anything you want from there Moreever there is a great suppo to those students who love any sport All the sport equipments are available in this college .

Faculty: u00b0yes, teachers used to help their students in any how. They use to make confusions clear to students. , They are well qualified and skillful tooo and more their way of teaching is impressing. u00b0yes, It makes students aware about business facts. It helps students to prepare mind for business u00b0Not that difficult but students must study hard to pass the semester There is no cheating in the exam hall and if anyone is ought doing such illegal activities in exam hall he/she is being banned for min 3 and max 5 years The pass percentage is 36%.

Other: u00b0I choose this course because I want to prepare my mind for business. I wanna set up my own business in future. u00b0 Listening & speaking skills must be improved after course. u00b0many events, festivals, are being enjoyed and in festivals colleges remain off and sholerships are given to students tooo.
