Admission criteria to IIM Jammu is both, merit and entrance based. The eligibility criteria to get into IIMJ programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course) with a minimum aggregate of 50%, along with entrance exams. For UG courses, candidates need to acquire a minimum aggregate of 60% in Class 12, along with valid entrance scores.

The University was established as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established along with 15 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament in 2009. The University has been granted 503+ acres of land during its establishment by the state government. CUK has 21 schools and 21 constituent teaching departments. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses for multiple All India categories.

For the General AI category, the cutoff for the BTech + MTech CSE course ranged from 42737 to 537200. As per this range the most competitive affiliated college was Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.
