Integrated MBA - Batch of 2028
1.0
Dissatisfaction over the satisfaction
Placements: We are 60 students in total. The highest was 3-4 LPA. I read it from the website I don't know about the reality but through seniors I got to know that they only provide placements to selective students like if there are 60, only 7-8 can get placements depending upon the record. They have made of themselves with placement officer and with other head faces. Wipro, SBI that I've heard from the sources of website that hire from our campus. Just 20% students got internship. Nothing I have heard about the roles they offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Except the infrastructure and teaching staff , rest are good there. They have kept our classroom in the storeroom that's basically the zero floor of the library. Talking about the canteen and other facilities that a University should have, are all above average, except our classroom infrastructure and faculty performance.
Faculty: Few teachers are good rest are I guess are useless to teach management. They don't know the ethics about how to treat students. Talking about our curriculum it's still as it was before 10 years. It has not updated yet so I think we cannot relate it to the present industry evolution or like such sort of. So you can see how sleepy management they are in.
Other: It was fancy to pronounce "I'm doing imba " so I chose it. They conduct fest events very well

One of the best universities to pursue courses in kashmir because of the infrastructure
Placements: I am from the 2024 batch and i have got this placement information from the placement officer himself. The highest package was : 17 LPA. Lowest package was: 4 LPA. Average package : 8 LPA. Top companies are Bajaj Finance, Wipro etc. Roles offered are manager, Financial executive.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is there. Wifi is available and a big library for studying and grabbing books is also available (sir syed iqbal library). Hostels have a good infrastructure and sports facilities are also available. Good medical facilities are available a proper health center is present.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PHD'S and are very knowledgeable and the quality of teaching is very high. The curriculum is according to the NEP which makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are of moderate level and 30% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because in future i want to run a business and the best thing about this course is that it teaches us how to handle the venture and the internships provided by the university helps us get the practical knowledge of it. Fests happen continuously and the campus crowd is very good and friendly. Scholarship are available. And i myself am a sports player and the university gives me a push to perform more and help me out in the training sessions.

Kashmir University I-MBA review .
Placements: It is very disappointing that the placement level at the university is below average. The package at the university is 4 LPAs. Many companies come for recruitment at the university, including HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Radisson Hotels, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good. There is almost every facility available in the university, including Wi-Fi, modern-day classrooms, the most famous Allama Iqbal Library, interdepartmental libraries and bus services for nearby students. Hostels are available for both boys and girls at the university and healthy food is served in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are very qualified, no doubt about that. Teaching quality is also very good. The syllabus of my course is not up-to-date; it is very old-fashioned and does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass; the difficult level of the exam is medium.
Other: I chose this course because it was very affordable for me and easy to get admission to I-MBA because the entrance fee for this course is easy to qualify for. I wish that the administration could update the syllabus of the course and offer an existing option. Events and fests are held every semester and you will have fun coming here.

Kashmir University is overall best if we talk on the basis of envt, quality education, teachers, etc
Placements: I am currently pursuing an IMBA at the University of Kashmir. I took the admission in 2022. Talking about placement, UoK does not have the best placement options; it only has 3–4 that offer placements. The placement chances are only about 20–25%. And the basic average salary given by those organizations is about INR 4 lacs p.a. As IMBA is a course of 5 years in the last year, i.e., the 5th year, you get 3 options to choose your specialization: Masters in Finance, Human Resources, or Marketing.
Infrastructure: The classroom structure and maintenance are abnormal in the Department of Management. They did not meet the general expectations that a student has of the university. There is a computer lab with approximately 30 of the latest computers, and the students get free Wi-Fi for the whole course.
Faculty: All the teaching staff is well qualified and intelligent. Their teaching quality is satisfactory. They are friendly and supportive; they never reject the opinions or suggestions of the students. The things students learn are up-to-date. The semester exams are generally balanced; in exams, you will not be asked about things you have not learned or experienced. The pass percentage is approximately 78%.
Other: The reason for choosing IMBA as my career is that I think business is the future of India. Studying management and business awareness in advance will be the best option. In IMBA, we get specialization only for 1 year; it would be better if the students could study specialization (Masters) for 2 years and General Management BBA only for 3 years. In an academic year, there are approximately 8–10 events, fests, etc. that give talented students exposure.

Our college is very good.
Placements: Our college did not provide placements. Our college had a dedicated career guidance cell that met the needs of all students.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi was available in our college. Our college had libraries. All the classrooms were well-designed, which provided a great scenario of professionalism. Our college provided very good facilities for the betterment of students.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good, professional, and educated. They helped us to come through with various spatial projects. They were very helpful in choosing our different roles in the field. They helped us in all aspects. Most of them were doctorates. They were highly experienced, which helped us to go in the right direction. They provided a quality education. Semester exams were moderate to difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because of my passion for IMBA, especially MBA. After taking admission to IMBA, I got very confident and interested in the field. Now I am working as an HR manager at Reliance Telecommunications.

Kashmir University IMBA COURSE.
Placements: We are about 60 students in our class of 5th semester IMBA, we do get placement offers from various companies like HDFC, Wipro, SBI, Tata, etc. The salary package offered varies from 10 LPA to 30 LPA. We all need to go for internships in various companies across India. Top roles offered are managerial posts.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, and our library is one of the biggest libraries in India. We have good Wi-Fi and classrooms with air-conditioners and projectors available. Resource labs are available for different departments like we have different labs for computer working, and different for another departments.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The curriculum is very good, and it makes a student industry-ready. Difficulty in exams is good, strict actions are taken, if anything mischievous found. The pass percentage is 40%. Overall the teaching faculty is amazing.
Other: I choose this course to understand how does a business build from zero to success I wish that there should me more practical things happening rather than just class room should have business clubs also. The campus surroundings are amazing, one of the beautiful place in Srinagar, very friendly nature of all, do hold some events, and other co curricular activities, sports is also fine.

Kashmir University is the best college in our state. The college has well-qualified teachers.
Placements: Every batch has about 60 students, and students get selected through a national level entrance examination. The college is not providing many campus recruitment from the past few years because the students prefer to move abroad after the completion of course. Mostly telecom companies used to visit our campus at the beginning for placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. The library of our college is one of the biggest in the state. The library has enough rooms and books for students to study in. I don't stay at the hostel, so I can't say much about it. I have heard that the quality of the food served is good. Proper washrooms are available in every hostel.
Faculty: There are mostly local teachers in our college with great experience. They all are PhD holders in their respective fields. The course curriculum is not up to the standards of the growing industry. Teachers give extra time to students if we ask for it.
Other: I have chosen this course because there is growing demand for management, financial and professional courses.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure. There are no placements, and the faculty are okay.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placements. Students have to suffer on their own to get placed. The placement coordinator is poor. None of the students got an internship. There is no placement cell present in the college.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available but of poor quality. There are no books in the library. Quality of food provided in the canteen is good, and very limited varieties of food are provided. A boys' hostel has been established recently, but there is no hostel for girls.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but not every teacher can deliver in the right manner. The teaching quality depends on the subject allotted to them. Usually, the lecture method is followed to teach. The problem is that we only have two permanent faculty members and the rest are working on a contract basis.
