Instrumentation in Adhiyamaan Engineering College.
Placements: Placements are only for processing and software industries. The number of core companies attending the campus drive is relatively nill, and the soft skills development is not extensive so the students cannot compete with other college students in off-campus drives. Skill set in core instrumentation is also very low. Only up to 10% of students from our batch got placed in IT sector. Core placement is only 5% on our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, mainly climate and location of the campus with much greenery and space. Sports facilities are awesome for interested people. Canteen and cafeteria are better placings to spend time with friends. When comes to lab and internet facilities, and no special interests shown towards lab facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are less interested and low capable but more friendly to deal with. A very few faculty were found to be friendly. The course curriculum is composed of all kinds of subjects from mechanical to Information technology, but it needs improvement to the standards of the current technologies.
Other: Our college conducts events and technical events departmental wise in every week. Sports are highly appreciated for both boys and girls. They won't allow us in the campus by wearing the uniform. But the institute has great capacity and feel like a festival every day inside the college campus.

A review of Adhiyamaan College of Engineering.
Placements: The placements here might be better. Nowadays, lots of companies visit our campus and number of students have been placed in several companies. Also, the packages here are well more than a fresher. Even though many companies have been selecting talented persons based on their skills, their marks and percentage do not count.
Infrastructure: First thing is the library here, and I think maybe our college library has the biggest ever college libraries in TamilNadu. Also, the Wi-Fi facility is provided all over the library. In sports, the important thing to remember is that ACE sports club has created a lot of energetic and skilful players.
Faculty: There is no doubt about our faculty members, they are well-educated and trained personalities with above all having a thinking mind. The first good thing is their friendly nature. They easily adapt to the students and attentively completes the course. The courses available in ACE are also good.
Other: A lot and lots of events have been conducted through the months.

Satisfied with the infrastructure but not with the system of education.
Placements: There were only 9 members placed out of 117 persons in our department during this period. No proper placements were arranged. The management didn't care for that. Few placement drives don't require B.E as education qualification.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, and it has good support for sports. The college grounds is one of the best things in Tamilnadu. It has separate football, cricket and a huge auditorium for hosting indoor games. The college has one of the best libraries in India which include state of the digital art library.
Faculty: The lab faculty for our department was not that much good when compared to other departments. The department was just started at that time they were developing the labs. The course should be updated with the latest syllabus. The syllabus remains old that doesn't suit current market requirements.
Other: There will be good events, fests and you will get connected to different people since the college has integrated campus for arts and science, diploma and engineering.

Feeling good about faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Many IT companies are invited here and hire the students according to their technical, communication and reasoning skills. BPO, marketing, insurance companies also hire the students based on their attitude and speaking ability. The college gives training for the students to improve their skills according to the requirement of the companies.
Infrastructure: Our college campus has separate blocks for mechanical, civil and EEE, the rest of the circuit branches are within the main block. The college has a well-constructed library which attracts the most. The canteens are very good, and the hostel facilities are very clean and comfortable.
Faculty: All the professors have completed their PG degrees. They are well educated and are professionals in teaching. Smart classes and digital classes are used to explain the concepts very well. Laboratories are well developed and give a clear understanding of the theoretical concepts of engineering. Workshops, symposium, department events, sports day, presentations and many programmes are conducted during the academics.

The college has a better infrastructure and library.
Placements: They will arrange placements only for the BPO companies, as very less IT companies will visit the campus for placements. They will also not arrange the core industries for placements. Only aptitude and GD training will be given for placements which will only be useful for the BPO placements. There will be no core subject related placements training.
Infrastructure: The centre of the art is the library as it has many numbers of collections. Also, the sports are given more importance, and the lab facilities are not up to the mark. They've only old equipment, which will not even be functional. The hostel is also good, but the food will not be good. There will be no Wi-Fi, but less medical facilities.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good, but the faculty are less experienced. Here, 25:1 is the student-facility ratio, but their teaching quality is not up to the mark. During the course, they'll also conduct a number of workshops and industrial visit. Also, the students have to take the effort to concentrate on their curriculum to move to the next stage.
Other: They'll conduct extra-curricular activities like symposium, workshops, conferences, yearly once. They'll also support students to visit other institutions for the same.

A decent "worth the money" college.
Placements: The super senior batch had some placements where companies like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, and Tech M recruited people. My batch and my seniors' batch did not have much to gain from the placements provided by the college. The junior batch, i.e., 2012-2016 batch had good placement.
Infrastructure: The college had a number of laboratories. No Wi-Fi was given to the students but the computers present in the library can be used till 7 pm everyday. The college is very good for the sports facilities with green grass filled over the cricket and football ground. There are separate grounds for hockey, tennis, basketball, and kabaddi. You will enjoy the sports life at Adhiyamaan. The classrooms and labs are of a good quality and are comfortable. No fan is required for the classrooms since the location is like a hill station and the windows remain closed on most of the days except the peak summer. The hostel is decent enough and worth the money paid. Same with the food. The canteen and the external caterers provide sort of decent food.
Faculty: The faculty is a mix as far as the experience is concerned. They help whenever you need. Simple school like teaching method is followed. Most of them do spoonfeeding. The only thing in your hands would be to study whatever they say and to get marks. Other than that, you can ask for in-plant training and other such stuff from Bangalore or any such locations. They would help you with their approval. The course curriculum is similar to all the Anna University colleges. Nothing to worry about.
Other: It is a very good place to enjoy the scenic atmosphere, the serene weather, and a few subjects. You cannot expect tier 1 companies for placements as far as I know but you can still get placements from other smaller companies. Enjoy the campus for four years, go to Bangalore, and enjoy the weekends. Also, make sure you get the most out of the college and education.

Best infra with not so bad placements and not so bad faculty.
Placements: Placements were average. Many companies including Amazon, IVTL, Mindtree, Capgemini, and BPOs visited with a salary package range of 12lpa to 2lpa. Most companies offered software trainee position and some even gave software engineer/analyst position. Companies were better compared to our senior batch. Getting placed is the only thing we need to do and placement coordinator also gives and arranges many programs for us to get improved. 40% of the students were placed. Many students opted out of placements. There is no internship provided by our college. Even the principal scolds if one is asking for internship(personally experienced ). Overall, if you are ready to work in any company without thinking of core or BPO or IT, then chances of getting placed is good.
Infrastructure: There is no doubt that the infrastructure is highly good. The climate in here is also one of the best of TN. Library and sports get the top priority in the list. They are awesome. The labs are almost good but one or two labs has some repaired equipment. Some classrooms have broken windows which they didn't change even after we informed them. The canteen food is good and normally rated. The hostel rooms are okay but could be better since we had lots of trouble with the cellphone signal.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good. But the faculty members in my department (EIE) are not so talented. Only a few staff members are knowledgeable and one or two are the best. Others simply come, work, and go. 10:1 was the student-faculty ratio which is not bad really. Industry exposure was only during the industrial visits, for which we had to struggle hard to get permission for.
Other: Marks will be given easily since the college is autonomous. If one has to get a first class with putting less effort, this college should be the first priority. The core knowledge one will gain here is not very good.(especially in EIE). The college is best for average students and definitely not for the brilliant ones.

Other: It is an autonomous college and so it has its advantages and disadvantages. According to my experience, people should look only two things while selecting a college. Infrastructure and placements. Rest all things are part of a college life. You have both these things in ambudance in this college. Infrastructure is too good. Especially the location of college. Hosur is also known as little London because of its beautiful climate. Placements as far as I know, there are a lot of IT companies coming every year for placement. Don't expect any major core companies since they prefer only IIT's and NIT's nowadays.
