AIIMS Delhi BSc is a flagship three-year course. The course duration can vary from three to four years. At the undergraduate level, AIIMS Delhi offers PB BSc and BSc courses such as BSc Nursing, BSc in Operation Theatre Technology, BSc in Paramedical, BSc (Hons) Medical Technology in Radiography (MTR), and PB BSc Nursing available at AIIMS Delhi.
AIIMS Delhi has reserved seats for students belonging to the categories OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. AIIMS Delhi EWS category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBBS on the basis of NEET UG exam results. The last round cutoff was closed at 214. In 2023 and 2022, the closing ranks among the EWS AI category were 258 and 195, respectively. Therefore, looking at the cutoff ranks, it was evident that the cutoff has been fluctuating among the EWS category canidates since the past three years.
The AIIMS Delhi Paramedical cutoff 2024 for the BSc courses at the undergraduate level has been released for last round. The AIIMS Delhi cutoff 2024 is ranged between 132 to 856 for General AI students. According to AIIMS Delhi BSc cutoff 2024, The most competitive course for the General AI category is Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with the last round cutoff of 132. Similarly, for the OBC category, the most competitive course is again Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with a Last Round cutoff of 150. Other than the beautiful, wi-fi enabled campus and a well maintained hostel and teaching campus, AIIMS New Delhi set up an Innovation Facilitation Division in 2017 for accommodating AIIMS faculty and scientists as incubatees. A Bio-Park is also under construction. MoU with other incubators to invite the startups for commercial ventures is also signed. AIIMS Delhi established a Centre for Integrative Medicine and Research (CIMR) in 2016 with an aim to build a convergence of contemporary medicine with India’s ancient and traditional medical practices. CIMR is dedicated to research, documentation and delivery of holistic healthcare. A patent has been granted to ‘Sealbio: a novel non-obturation regenerative technique of endodontic treatment’.
AIIMS Delhi is considered one of the top collegea across the country. The college receieved rank 1 in Medicine and Health Sciences, as per the NIRF ranking. There is a very tough competition to get into the college. To get admission to the college via AIIMS PG, for MSc specialisations, the General AI category candidates must have a rank of below 6. AIIMS New Delhi offers MBBS, BSc, BSc (Hons), PB BSc Nursing along with a BOptometry course at the undergraduate level. For admission to all these courses, the minimum eligibility criteria is the completion of Class 12 with a bare minimum percentage. AIIMS Delhi OBC category cutoff 2024 for admission on the basis of AIIMS Nursing was closed between 13 and 1697 for the OBC AI category candidates, during the last round. The most difficult specialisation was M.Sc. in Nursing (Critical Care Nursing), for which last round closing rank was 13. On the other hand, the easiest specialisation was B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing, with the last round cutoff of 1697.
Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course.
- MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent.
- MSc: The eligibility criteria for the foreign candidates will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidates.
- MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM: A combined merit list of the sponsored/ foreign candidates is made. Seats are allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the entrance test
