Faculty of law, University of Allahabad.
Placements: The placement cell of this college is average, not much high. You can get an average placement of 4-5 lakhs. Approximately half of the students are placed. And you can also get internship opportunities from this college at High court of Allahabad and also at District courts.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is so good. The whole campus is connected with wifi , you can use internet at any where and can complete your work. Also the faculty has a big library in which you can get any law book which you want to study. The college also provides hostel facilities which includes mess and canteen and also ground for playing sports.
Faculty: The faculties of this college are very well qualified, helpful and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is so good. The duration of BA LLB course is of 5 years. The examination is conducted twice in a semester firstly the mid term and then the end semester. The semester exams are not that tough you can pass it easily.
Other: I have chosen this college because I want to do my bachelor's from a recognized central university. The college annually conducts a fest in the hostel campus.

Review of Law Faculty, University of Allahabad .
Placements: This is one of the major drawbacks of the Allahabad University Faculty of Law: it has no placement cell. The university is focused on the judiciary and litigation and the corporate sector is not encouraged here. As there is no concept of placement, we do not have an internship cell as well. You have to find your own through connections.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, but there is no campus life here. We do not have a canteen on the faculty premises. There is a library, which is good. We also get access to online databases, such as Manupatra. Classrooms are well ventilated and air-conditioned. The hostel premises are quite good. They maintain cleanliness and hygiene conditions.
Faculty: Okay, this is something great about the faculty. The faculty is good, mostly. They are all Ph.D. holders with a good number of years of experience. Also, the faculty is very helpful and they even guide you personally if you approach them. They provide study materials, which are very helpful during exams.
Other: So as there is no campus life, we do not have any events organized as well. The students organize an annual event by themselves. Law as a department is very renowned at Allahabad University because of its success rate in the judiciary and other civil service examinations. Also, the location of the campus, which is around 10 km from Allahabad High Court, makes it very helpful. We have workshops and orientations where they invite judges and successful lawyers from Allahabad High Court with whom you can connect and build connections .

Great for law, needs upgrade.
Placements: Historic campus, vibrant student life, affordable education, but lacks in placements and practical exposure. Good for motivated students willing to build their career path. Around 15%-20% of students from the course got placed through university or personal efforts.
Infrastructure: Great legacy and academic value, but it needs better infrastructure, placements, and student facilities. Best for self-driven students aiming for the judiciary, litigation, or civil services. Sports grounds exist for cricket, football, and athletics. However, equipment and maintenance are not up to standard.
Faculty: Strong academic base and experienced faculty, but outdated teaching methods and weak industry exposure. Good for civil/judicial exam aspirants, not ideal for corporate law careers. Semester exams are moderately difficult, theory-heavy, and require good writing skills, with regular study, exams are manageable.
Other: Academically strong with good faculty and peer learning, but lacks practical exposure, modern infrastructure, and placements. Great for judiciary/civil service aspirants on a budget.

Review of Law College: No placements here, but the teachers are good and supportive.
Placements: There were no placements here, but most of the students prepared and cleared the judiciary or other exams. However, if anyone wants to learn about advocacy, they can work under senior or junior advocates with the guidance of our department dean. They can prefer good advocates.
Infrastructure: There are two libraries on our campus in the law faculty, one big where all types of law books can be found, including old law books. Additionally, there are big classrooms available where teachers can properly manage the classes and guide us on how to prepare or make good notes. The teachers are of a friendly nature. Hostels are also good, and the food is good too, but hostel allocation is based on the merit list.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, with some holding Ph.D.s and some pursuing a Diploma of Law. Additionally, different types of programs are organized in hostels from time to time, including various kinds of festivals and sports events. There are six semesters held, and everyone passes with a good percentage. Various extracurricular activities are also held, like nukkad natak, etc.
Other: If we talk about scholarships, students who are eligible or bona fide can avail of them. The campus crowd is not much, mainly because there are many faculty members, which is the main reason only law students have permission to enter the campus.

Absolutely satisfied because of good environment and faculty.
Placements: 100% placements are offered. The highest package is INR 20 lacs. The lowest is INR 10 lacs. The average package is INR 6 lacs. The top recruiting companies are Tata, Jio, and other industries. 60 to 70% of students got internships at Jio, Reliance, and other top companies like Aditya Birla and Tata Industries. The top roles offered are legal advisor and claims head.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi enabled with a good network. We have moot courts. There are 10 classrooms. There is one library. There are no hostels available for law students in my area but there are Shatabdi hostels related to the University of Allahabad. The quality of food is average, medical facilities are good, and sports and other events are held from time to time.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Yes, the teachers are qualified. Strict rules follow during the semester exams and the pass percentage is above 90%. In my college, the minimum pass rate is 40 percent in each subject; there are six subjects in each semester.

Everything is good except placements and infrastructure.
Placements: There was no placement opportunity. In other courses such as B.Com and MBA, there were placement opportunities but in law faculty members, placements, and infrastructure were poor. Not only law faculty, but many other faculty members were poor in terms of placements and infrastructure. Even courses such as MBA and M.Com also did not provide good packages.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, library, etc., were well maintained. Wi-Fi was good. Hostels and mess were good. Sports and medical facilities were okay but needed some financial and infrastructural improvements. I lived in a hostel for three years and my experience was excellent. Mess was also in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the professors attended classes regularly. Teaching quality was good and syllabus was helpful, especially for judiciary aspirants. Semester exams were of standard grade and required good answers and writing skills. Pass percentage was around 90%. Exams were conducted in a very strict manner intolerant to unfair means.
Other: I chose LLB (Hons) as my target was the judiciary. The best thing was that the syllabus was very similar to that of judiciary exams. Faculty members needed to improve infrastructure for those who aspire to become good lawyers and should make arrangements for moot court practices. Other things such as events, fests, campus crowd, surroundings, connectivity, scholarship programs, etc., were good.
