It's the worst college, don't come here.
Placements: This college has no mechanical placement. They don't want us to be placed in core companies; they want us to be placed in it sector, despite the fact that we are mechanical engineers. If we do not want that company, they will begin to hold a grudge against us.
Infrastructure: Library is nice. You can eat at the Taj Hotel for less money instead pf food court. I believe the quality is very poor for the price we are paying. I can say that medical facilities are irresponsible. When a boy went to our college medical centre with a fractured leg, the person there put the plaster on the wrong leg.
Faculty: Some teachers are okay and some do not know how to talk to students.
Other: I'd like to say something. That college is only for making money, for example: our head of the mechanical department knows nothing about the subject he teaches, literally nothing, so how come someone made him a HoD? My advice is to avoid this college because there are far better colleges out there.

The college pressurises the students to study.
Placements: We have attended interviews conducted by only a few companies since last year. Though they college is providing a lot of training sessions, we are not able to get placed. Though they are providing coaching for the GATE exam since the starting of the course, no one has cleared the GATE exam. It is one of the major drawbacks of our college.
Infrastructure: The college provides hostel facilities, and four buildings are available to accommodate boys. The mess fee is around Rs. 3,000 per month, and the hostel fee is around Rs. 35,000 per annum. They don't allow students to stay in PGs. They make students to follow the rules strictly. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, television, newspaper and breakfast are provided in the hostel.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty members except some. Some faculty members struggle to teach us. They didn't clear the GATE examination. The management takes feedback from us every year and makes improvements. The faculty members don't stay in the college for more than two years.

If you need a real-time experience with studies, admit into AIET.
Placements: A lot of placements opportunities are available for the students who are in final year and are eligible to attend the placement drives. In our college we have 5 branches, out of these, most of the students from EC and CS grab most placements.
Infrastructure: Actually, our college is in DK, so the college infrastructure is always cool and full of greenery surrounded by small hills. The most important thing in our campus is that there is no noise or disturbance. As we know, most of the colleges in cities and they face noise pollution, but it is avoided on our campus. Our college provides hostel facilities for the students who come from other states and even local students.
Faculty: Coming to the course, there are 5 branches in our college. Each branch has at least 25 faculty members to take classes, and the faculty members are well known about their profession. They know how to teach every student in a well-manner. The faculty members motivate the students to overcome their fear and encourage them to do some innovative things for their career improvement. Almost all of our college faculty members have done their masters, and some of them are PhDs.
Other: Coming to events, our college is the best. Especially for cultural activities, our college is the only one that got most prizes in VTU cultural activities. A lot of cultural activities are conducted every month even in our college. Students from different colleges come here to perform their talents.

The quality of education and surrounding are wonderful.
Placements: Good companies visit the campus for the placements with attractive packages. There is pre-placement training, GATE training, aptitude training, and all the required information is provided to the students. The students are guided throughout the process. Companies often visit the campus for campus drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with all the amenities. We have a world-class infrastructure, central library, classrooms with video lectures, and canteen in the campus. The hostels are nearby with 2 to 5 minutes of walk. Good sports facilities available, and hospital facilities are also nearby.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful, who help you to reach greater heights. All the faculty members help the students to improve in their studies. The syllabus is covered with all the other necessary information on the subject. The faculty members follow the curriculum. The students are guided for all their curricular and non-curricular activities.

I'm proud to be an Alvasian. It's the best place to study.
Placements: The core companies are less in the college, but the sales and marketing companies are more in our department, and the package is also good. Almost 80% students will get placed, and the highest package was 6 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was 3 lakhs per annum for mechanical. A few of the companies visited our college were Tech Mahindra, Dyson, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available 24/7 and 1 GB per day, labs are good, classrooms are good, and for every classroom, projectors are provided, and also all the teaching will be recorded. So, that anyone can view it at any time after the classes, and the sports students have a good opportunity.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are great, and students can clarify their doubts at any point in time. The teachers are friendly, and the quality of teaching is really good. The students to teachers ratio are 16:1 in the college, and every semester, there will be industrial visit so that students get exposed to it.
Other: Many events like Varishta, Kreedakoota, traditional day, technical fest etc., are conducted in the college. Scholarships and many clubs are there in the college for students.

Good for finishing degree not a place for getting knowledge.
Placements: The placements are good for other branches, not for mechanical. They are trying but not satisfying the student for 180 mechanical students hardly 10 can get placed. In that 10, 4 or 5 are placed in core companies. From college side sponsored internships for made money from students, it is not free.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostel is like jail. All building will be looking for the apartments. The library is good, and there is a poor speed of Wi-Fi. The college is best for sports, lab quality is good and but need an efficient trainer. Some of the classrooms need a projector. The hostel rooms are okay, but the food is not spicy and salty sappe erutte.
Faculty: The teaching and facilities are they are well-educated, but some of them are not knowing. The teaching method is good, using projector trying to feed matter into our head forcefully. There is no free time for us full timetable is busy. Even some of the Sunday's also they take a class.

Engineering student with BE in mechanical stream.
Placements: The college has a placement department and will try to get good campus placements, but for mechanical and civil branches, the placement is really poor. Electrical, computer science and IS students can enjoy their cup of cake. But overall, the campus placement is poor. This may be because for its been really short time that they have started an engineering college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not really good for the engineering college, but for the other side campus of Alva's, for rest of the degrees and PU college, it is really good regarding everything. The library is the only attractive place on the campus, and there is no ground for sports activities.
Faculty: For learning and to be a studious guy, this college is for you, and also there are a lot of restrictions and rules to be followed. It is not as strict as Alva's College for PU and other degrees. But there are a lot of life lessons to be learnt here.
Other: For whatever it is, the credit goes to Vivek Alva; he takes care of the college and students very well. He supports students if they want to do something special for college or the fest.

Nice and beautiful college with good environment and faculty members.
Placements: Many placement events are conducted in our college. The famous companies like Amazon, IBM, Tata, etc., are participated in that placement. The college is giving good opportunities. At the end of each year, they conduct placement for every branch in that college. This is the best opportunity for every student studying there.
Infrastructure: Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) is one of the best colleges in Karnataka. The management of the college provides many benefits. There is a good library with a good atmosphere. The classrooms are good with the projectors in each classroom. The Wi-Fi facility is provided for students and staffs. The environment is good for studying. The labs are the best for students with centralized A/C. The hostel is near to the college with a neat and clean mess. The cultural programs are conducted in each year. Moreover, the chairman Mr Vivek Alva is a great person, who will support and motivate each student in their studies and other activities. It is a great pleasure for me to study there.
Faculty: The teachers are good for supporting and motivating the students for their studies and curricular activities. All are good in teaching. The lab attendees are good in the lab. In each lab, there is a minimum of 2 lab attendees. There is an IV for each branch from the 2nd year.
