An honest review of Alva’s College, Moodbidire.
Placements: About 90% of students were placed in the course. The maximum salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. But in the banner, you will see the salary package as 20 LPA, it's fake. Top recruiters are Infosys, etc. Most of all students got internship opportunities. They only focus on semester results, not on the overall activities of students. Teaching staff members are the worst.
Infrastructure: No such high facilities are available in our college. When you enter the college, they say 60 Mbps but you will not get that speed. You get only 20 Kbps. In the library, you will get old textbooks and they are not replaced with new ones. In the classrooms, the projectors are very cheap but they are not working. If you see them from the first bench also, you can't view the wall. Mess food is too delicious but we can't digest. The canteen serves only get 2 types of food, only biriyani, and parotta. Medical facilities are very costly. If you go to a hospital and get admitted for 5 days, you have to pay Rs.4000.
Faculty: It is the very worst experience. Teachers in our college are not experienced and waste the time of students. Students only sit for attendance. It's not college but a kindergarten class. You will get irritated with college after 1st year. The semester exam is neither so easy nor tough. Pass percentage is more than 85%.
Other: The course is interesting but college makes it a bore to study. Events are okay. But fest is the worst thing. They conduct a dare to hack, fun games for 2nd years. The students who are other in 2nd year don't know about Java and they conduct dare-to-hack activities. After 7 pm, you can't go out of the college. For boys, hostel is behind college so it's like a jail. You will not get holidays like other colleges. The outing is allowed only on Sunday and it's only from 9 am to 1 pm.

Review of Alvas engineering college.
Placements: Our college has good placements. The highest salary package is 12 LPA offered by Amazon, the minimum salary package is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package is 3.5 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Wipro, and Infosys are the major recruiters. Most people get selected. There is 100% placement in our college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There are many labs like the internet lab, Ade lab, Edwin lab, and iOS lab and the in-charge is taken by faculty members. Teaching is good. We have a huge library. There are medical facilities like a hospital and a huge ground for games.
Faculty: All the faculty members are good except few. There are some teachers with many years of experiences and teach well. They contain different workshops according to the curriculum. We have to work hard to get more marks.

I am satisfied with the education and placement training.
Placements: Around 90-95% of students were placed. The highest salary package is around 12-14 LPA, the minimum salary package is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package is 3 LPA. The companies are TCS, Wipro, and even Amazon too, but no one cleared Amazon interview, but we can hope in upcoming batches they will be able to crack it.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi enabled campus which is free, separate classrooms and each department has its floor and labs. Hostel food is average but value for money. Hostels are separate for girls and boys and even there are food courts, a playground, and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers help in acquiring knowledge and studying. Internals are a little tough, just to prepare well for semester exams. Teachers fully support for achieving your goals. The pass percentage is more than 70, only a few were not able to clear exams.
Other: CSE is a top course compared to others in engineering. We have many fests, some fests are bound inside the college campus, and some are even outside the campus.

Our college shows the way to success.
Placements: Our college has 100 % placements. They provide aptitude training and many other courses which are helpful in placements. All the companies visiting the campus are good. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, & the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has all types of labs. Library is also available, and we get Wi-Fi in the college as well as the hostel. Ragging is not allowed in the hostel. Hostel rooms are also good. Other facilities like water and electricity and everything are fine.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and the teaching is also good. Because of the teaching, we are not afraid of the semester exam. Normally we have class tests. All the teachers are qualified and supportive of students. Every thing is fine.
Other: There are many extra activities, other than the studies.

My college experience was full of ups and downs but lucky to have graduated from such a good college
Placements: The placement team is pretty cool and constantly working hard to get the students placed. Any assistance needed they are always there. But they need to make sure that the companies that recruit genuinely take the students in. Many students were placed from my batch but not in their relevant fields. Students were given mostly customer support roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good. Labs are amazing and the classroom is comfortable with a good study environment. Not all sports are given importance but the ped is good and has a lot of interest. The quality of food was good when I was there but expensive. Hostel rooms are pretty decent but the new boys are put into a lot of pressure.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and the teaching is pretty decent. They need to give more practical experience and make sure that stuff goes into students' head and not just take the class. The teaching methods are pretty normal and not really that special. Some faculty membersare really good and knowledgeable.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost all students were knowledgeable and got placed. Our college provides internship opportunities. More than 190 companies visit our college to recruit students. I would recommend joining this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has good environment. Our college is clean and well-maintained. The food served in the mess is good, hygienic, and healthy. The water facilities are good. They provide hot and cold water. They serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and talented. They are friendly and helpful. They clear our doubts. Internals are conducted regularly. The teaching quality is good. The chairman maintains a record of every student's progress.

Overall, this is a very good college.
Placements: They have a good placement history. This year they have achieved 100% placement results. Higher students come to work for big companies like Amazon and Infosys. They are mainly attracted because of the training programmes that are conducted by the college administration.
Infrastructure: They have a library named after a Kannada poet. This is open till 10 p.m. They have many labs, like a C programming lab, an internet lab, etc. They also have free Wi-Fi facilities. The hostel also has a good infrastructure and is located in a lovely area called Shobhavana.
Faculty: Facilities always help us to solve all kinds of problems. Sporting facilities are available. They are excellent at their work. Exams are conducted very strictly. Exams are conducted in the college classroom and maintain a distance. There is no chance of coping.
Other: ALVAS is a very good college.

This college is good those students who wants to opt the higher education.
Placements: Over 90% of students in this college are placed in good companies on a continuous basis. The highest package offered is about Rs 40 lakhs and the lowest package is about Rs 3.5 lakhs. TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. generally offer jobs to the students of this college.
Infrastructure: The campus of the college was attractive, and by attracting students, this college provided higher education. This college has more than 20 clubs and provides proper preparation for competitive exams such as GATE and others. Hostel having for both girls and boys.
Faculty: The teachers are so good and extremely helpful over here. The semester exams are quite average.
Other: I have chosen to study computer science and engineering in thesis institutions. I have chosen this course to learn more about the software and some technical courses like cyber security and ethical hacking, AWS, etc. I wanted to become a data scientist and that was my aim.

Alvas College, Moodbidire is a good college. As per the reviews placements record also seems to be decent.
They do provide hostel facility.
